Paula Deen, the Queen of Southern Cuisine, responds to a vicious attack by so-called television chef Anthony Bourdain. He’s the pseudo-intellectual elitist who once ate a warthog’s rectum.
Bourdain called Miss Paula the most dangerous person in America.
“She’s proud of the fact that her food is ***** bad for you,” he said.

Bourdain’s show has run its course. He is angry that The Travel Channel is about to cancel his leftist propoganda show. The f!@#@ “food” he eats in some of the “people’s paradises” he visits is s!@#@.
I suspect he is looking for a new job as Mobobobama’s personal chef or as her ambassador for “healthy eating” to the American public.
He knows that when his gig at The Travel Channel ends, his sources of alcohol and other substances dries up wtih it.

I don’t know what Bourdain’s comment referred to, I can only assume he was talking about the “animal fat is bad for you” line.
Bourdain’s show and business must be targeted to people ignorant of food, because most every decent French restaurant cook will happily discuss with a customer how healthy a balanced diet is, which most certainly includes the incredibly wonderful health benefits of animal fat.
Bourdain knows this if he knows anything about good food. He’s simply spewing the politics of the left, perhaps so much that he even believes it.
I’ve seen a bit of his show, and all I remember is him acting cool and jaunting around to different places.
Cooking show hosts often get far too wrapped up in themselves, instead of just cooking, describing and leaving it go at that, which is what the good ones do. I’ll go along with some “elevated” thoughts - a wonderful show with Pepin and Itzhak Perlman comes to mind, or the architectural meanderings of Lydia’s daughter - as they make an interesting and enjoyable blend of ideas. But spewing on about left-wing causes is only coldly ironic, IMHO, since far-left politics has been one of the leading causes of starvation and famine.

Bourdain doesn’t like too many people. He think Martha Stewart is great though so I can scratch him off my list.

Drunkard, admitted drug addict, mediocre chef, potty mouthed hack writer...Yeah, pretty much. I did enjoy immensely his first book, having worked at a pizza parlor in High School.
I actually can relate in a way to him, other than the hard drug addiction part. I was an underachiever, more interested in the next kegger than studying or working. The Army mostly cured me of that. My wife is a tough, smart, funny (you’d have to be to put up with me), hottie.
The attack on Paula Deen? He’s from New York... They think that the entire world revolves around what they think. I’ll never forget the look of shock on a relatives face when I told her what I really thought of that pestilence of a city.
He was talking about some of her recipes like her hamburger on donuts instead of a bun. Bourdain is a lefty but his eyes are opening. He was openly critical of the neo-Sandinistas in the Nicaragua show and he has hung out with Ted Nugent on another.
