"Damage Control: Active Duty Air Force Staff Sergeant Daryn J. Moran Will Be "Honorably Discharged" From The Air Force
SSGT Moran will be "honorably discharged" from the United States Air Force.
Air Force damage control: Pixel Patriot just spoke with SSGT Daryn J. Moran and SSGT Moran has informed him that he has been "honorably discharged" from the United States Air Force.
We also just received an email from SSGT Moran and it reads as follows,
This is SSgt Daryn J. Moran. The below email is to a reporter about my response to his attempts to reach me for a couple of questions.
I am short on time to discuss much other than to say the Lord has allowed me to remain with my family and we are leaving Germany, and I am receiving an Honorable discharge.
Thank you to all who prayed. What a blessing to know the protection of the Lord.
I will have positive things to say when I get there, in addition to things already distributed. I hope everyone will be prepared to hear the hand of God in all of this, and why my faith is stronger.
Back on American soil within this week, I'm sorry the itinerary is unavailable to the public, but I am coming with my Bible in hand, joy in my heart, and many friends to make and see. Thank God.
Sincerely,
D. Moran
Note: It was just yesterday that the Department of Justice and Air Force officials at the Pentagon visited the postings at this site viewing SSGT Moran's public statements. We are also still working on getting SSGT Moran's complete on-camera video statement. We had upload issues processing the remaining clips. SSGT Moran will deliver the complete UNIFORMED DECLARATION to Pixel Patriot for further processing. Stay tuned for more."

And I quote:
He just decided to go AWOL right before it was final.
I know that was a long time ago, but do try to stay caught up.
They could probably go after him if they wanted to. But why bother? They’re getting rid of the guy. Why give him the attention he appears to desperately crave?
"Theres just one hitch: Moran, an ophthalmology technician assigned to the 86th Airlift Wing at Ramstein Air Base, is actually on an approved leave status, according to a statement released by U.S. Air Forces in Europe. He is currently outprocessing for discharge from the Air Force which was previously approved by his commander on August 4th,"
But it is not leave charge to a service members account. And to be more accurate, SSgt Moran is in a time period of when local or squadron policy affords service members a period of time to outprocess from his assignment. This can anywhere between a few days to a month.
For discipline?
Isn't that what's mandated in the military? Discipline?
Is it possible that the guy was near re-enlistment and this was all a put on, that he simply didn’t re-enlist or was refused re-enlistment? I have no idea. Just asking.
Thank you for the ping rx :)
This is NOT what I was expecting... although, it DOES show that they,(nObama Admin) is trying to avoid it at all costs now ..
No, they don't. But, if he was really on the way out the door, they'd likely just let him go.
Yup, certainly possible. Or, that he knew he was going to be discharged shortly and figured the military wouldn’t go after him. Appears he figured correctly.
In the first sixty two words of your post you never get past “honorably discharged from the United States Air Force.” You repeat your title three times without ever getting to the story. You are a bad blogger.
Just out of curiosity, were you cheering the prosecution of Lakin, too?
I'm not sure why you feel the need to be so nasty. I said he decided to go AWOL in reference to his "proclaiming" that he was AWOL.
Why is that ironic?
No matter his status, I am glad he is getting out clean and got a parting shot at Obama.
Because, the military doesn't care that someone "on their way" out the door calls the Commander in Chief a criminal and calls for his arrest.
Hey...since he's "on the way out"...it's no biggie. He's still in the military...but heck, it's OK because soon we're going to honorably discharge him.
Um, sure.
If you read his other writings on the internet, it appears that he was outspokenly anti-gay. For this, they labeled him with a personality disorder and sent him home pending his discharge. Then he announced on the internet that he was AWOL and demanded that either he be arrested or Obama be arrested. Nobody bit. The army said he wasn't AWOL and the discharge proceeded.
Ah. I see. You were only deliberately trying to mislead in that post.
In that case, all is forgiven, sorry I sounded nasty to you.
Yesterday AFT says he’s AWOL, today they say he isn’t.
"Just out of curiosity, were you cheering the prosecution of Lakin, too?
I'll give you 3 guesses...but the first two don't count.
Cheers!
