For two years, the Democrat party had a super-majority in the Senate, the majority in the House, and the executive branch. They had hundreds upon hundreds of chances to raise the debt ceiling or to cut spending but decided not to. Yet, the day after S&P downgraded the United States' credit rating, Democrats are deciding to blame Republicans for every possible thing wrong with the economy, particularly our credit.
For example, Harry Reid stated in response to the news:
"The action by S&P reaffirms the need for a balanced approach to deficit reduction...instead of hardliners who have already ruled out the balanced approach that the markets and rating agencies like S&P are demanding."
So the question is: who is really to blame?

No way to put that horse back in the barn without starting from scratch.
The only way to begin to reverse this is to call out the marxists in Congress and the press by name and harass, investigate, and where justified, imprison them.
Zero tolerance for marxism in US Government, make it part of the oath of office.
Make deficit spending and voting for deficit spending a CRIME except in case of war declared by Congress.
Make voter fraud a crime punishable by a minimum sentence of 25 to life.
Make all voters re-register to vote under strict controls.
Repeal the 15th Amendment,19th Amendment,23rd Amendment,24th Amendment,26th Amendment,Voting Rights Act,National Voter Registration Act, and Help America Vote Act, or nullify them via legislation or Executive Order.
The US credit rating will go right up.

I would suggest you add the 16th because of the tyranny and cronyism it has given us. Then add in the 15th, 19th and 26th. These three added voters that 'feel' instead of think. Just a thought.
