Governor Palin Retweets Article Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas’ Total Debt

Governor Palin Retweets Article from Whitney Pitcher and PA4Palin That Notes How Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas’ Total Debt

This re-tweet from Governor Palin should pretty much put an end to the outrageous rumors that she’ll endorse Rick Perry. The great article from Whitney and PA4Palin re-tweeted by the Governor directly contrasts Governor Palin’s stellar record on debt and liabilities with the futile records of Mitt “peacetime” Romney and Rick Perry. If Palin is endorsing Perry, why is she re-tweeting an article that slams his inability to control what Governor Palin has described as the “foundation of destruction?”

It’s also noteworthy that the article that Palin re-tweeted pretty much calls for her to run for the presidency.

In my opinion, that's an inaccurate argument made by some Palin critics who are not familiar with the tax structure and Constitution of Alaska.

Two opinions and explanations can be found at the following;

Secret coded messages from Sarah????? Does Toys R Us sell decoder rings? Can I get one for my birthday?

Only if you know the secret password...

Perhaps I overdid it with the idioms in my post. Point is, Palin has been doing lots of things over the last year or so that are entirely consistent with someone who's planning a run for the presidency.

One or two could be explained away as coincidental, but taken in aggregate, there's no mistaking what she's doing.

Forced? It wasn't even mandatory.

You're saying it was optional? Everything I've read regarding Perry's EO says either 'mandatory' or 'required' for girls prior to entering 6th grade to receive the three-shot vaccination series.

Friday, February 02, 2007 • Press Release

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today issued an executive order directing the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to adopt rules requiring all girls age 11 and 12 to receive the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine prior to entering sixth grade, effective September 2008. The executive order also directs...

In response to his refusal to rescind that EO, the Texas House passed HB 1098 on March 14, 2007, overturning his executive order by a vote of 119-21 and the Senate agreed with a vote of 30-1.

However, in support of your claim that it wasn't 'mandatory' or "required' the press release stated "Parents may choose to opt out of mandatory vaccinations for reasons of conscience, including religious beliefs."

Please correct me if I am mistaken. I have done some research into Perry's background and track record, but I do make mistakes occasionally and do my best to own up to and correct them.

...wishing or voting for Obama over Perry is about as rational as pouring acid on your face to clear up your acne.

Just to be clear, I would never vote for obama. Never have. Never will. I never have thought, uttered or written a single word in support of obama. Or Reid. Or Pelousy and their progressive agenda to destroy and remake our Republic.

So, you claim Gardasil wasn't mandatory, but everything I've read says it was.

You then soften it by saying that vaccines make the world a better place and I agree...unless your side effects are worse than the disease the vaccine or drug was to prevent. Saw a lot of that when I was in grade school with kids born with Thalidomide related birth defects. I'm not as trusting as you are.

Then, you leap to a conclusion based on facts not in evidence by anything I've ever said or posted regarding supporting obama over Perry.

Insulting me won't make me vote for your candidate.

I humbly suggest that your thinking and reasoning would benefit from greater clarity and that is the basis for my reply.

I stand by my opinion that Perry is not to be trusted with real power.

So you’re willing to stick with someone even if you know they’re unelectable?

You're buying the Romney and media spin. If she runs she'll have plenty of time to make her case, that's what a campaign is for.

I have been down this argument before. Here is how financial the industry defines it:

"tax on profits that result from a sudden windfall to a particular company or industry."

Okay, now explain to me howa tax structure that graduates based on progressive oil income revenues does not meet this criteria?

Good point BTM, however it also did put Perry in a bad light!

So hopefully, Sarah was aware of this before she forwarded the article, surely she read it and picked up on that.

Surely she now knows how her supporters are receiving this, at the very least.

So why hasn't Rick "Open Borders/Pro-Amnesty/Anti-Border-Fence" Perry done anything actually constructive to solve the problem at a state level?

When you say "state level" which state are you referring to? Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, or California?

People endorse each other all the time, when you endorse someone you say wonderful things about them, that`s how it works.

I think a while back when Sarah mentioned Perry would be a good person to run, I think she was sure at that point that he was NOT running.

My point is that Palin has not been a border state governer and isn’t saddled with all the federal mandates to pay for the care and feeding of illegals. The 4 border states are the defacto rest stop/welcome center for the illegals. And the states get stuck with the bills.
Add to that all the intentional destruction of industry here in Texas by obama and yep, the state’s debt has probably tripled.

As for GW Bush ignoring the border, your right. He was the governer of Texas and lived a half day’s drive from the border. You would have thought he would have done something about the southern border while he was president. He never did. There is no excuse for that especially since he was so big on national security. Will never understand that thinking.

I'm a pretty busy guy and I do not get to spend much time here or following any one political personality's daily activities. It seems to me, though, that as much, if not more, of Sarah's public activity indicates that she is not running as indicates that she is.

I am not a big Sarah fan (I favor nobody at this point) but my fiancee is. She's a paralegal at a mid-sized firm that specializes in Real Estate law and is not particularly political by nature. Her attraction to Sarah was based on the Sarah we were seeing just before and for a few months after the election of 2008. As of late, her enthusiasm for Sarah is running dry as is her patience.

As for me...I repeat, I am not a big fan of anybody at this point.

Try this:

An Introduction to Sarah Palin-omics

Former state Representatives Pete Kott and Vic Kohring have been convicted taking bribes from oil company executives in Alaska. Using the oil profits tax passed in 2006, these politicians literally used their offices to steal money from the citizens of Alaska. Governor Sarah Palin would have none of it, and set to work to correct the problem and return that money to Alaskan residents...

Governor Palin did what any conservative worth their own soul would have done. She gave tax dollars that were literally stolen from Alaskan taxpayers right back to them and appropriately reversed corrupt tax policy. Not only did she bring ethics back to the tax policy in regards to the oil industry in Alaska, she improved the policy itself in her proposal.

The tax raises when oil prices are high, and falls when oil prices are low. This gives amazing incentive for the oil companies to produce more oil, which increases supply, and lowers prices for everyone including the taxes they themselves pay the state. When oil prices are low the tax moves to a 10 percent tax on the gross, instead of the net tax of 25% when prices are high. Instead of, not in addition to. The oil companies in Alaska with the Palin proposal pay the state minus their operating expenses along with pipeline and tanker charges. In this way, the oil companies are not taxed for the cost of doing business.

That's not the issue...I am a Sarah Palin supporter and have been since day 1. The comparison doesn't hold water...she was in office a little over 2 years. Perry has been in office over 10 years. I mean we have Forbes who has rated 8 of the biggest boom towns...Texas has 4 of them. #1 Austin, #4 San Antonio, #5 Houston, #7 Dallas...there is NO denying the obvious....yet we have someone comparing 2 yrs in office to 10 years in office....that is NO comparison. It is deluded.

Will never understand that thinking.

That’s the ‘demographics is destiny’ thinking. To a large extent it’s true, but I’d rather import engineers and healthcare people and their families than bricklayers and landscapers.

So, you don't really follow Sarah's activities all that closely, yet you're sure that you detect that she's not running?

Not sure how you figure out what someone's doing by hardly watching them, but ok.

I have several acquaintances with young daughters, none have had the shots and they are in TX public schools.
