When I try to have a peaceful, non-political chat with my liberal, leftist acquaintances, why does it always end up with them shouting and cursing at me about my stupidity and obvious hatred for others? It always begins with them saying something like, "I don't want to get started in on politics, but why did Allen West attack Debbie Wasserman Schultz like that? After all, she's a woman and a breast cancer survivor."
When I try to explain that he was merely defending himself from her baseless charges, the stuff hits the fan. "You're as stupid and as biased as he is, blah, blah, blah." I chuckle, shake my head, walk away and promise to remain mute the next time we meet, knowing it will never change.

My reply to the Deb W-S issue is: she wanted equality - she’s got it. (Equality means NO special treatment)
Islamophobia - a phobia is an irrational fear - with the % of terrorists that are muslim it is not an irrational fear.
When they attack West, call them Racist and harp on it.
When they attack Palin/Bachmann call them mycologist and harp on it. Do not let them speak until they give the apology you DEMAND.
Claim horrid offense and feign mortification. Berate them until they do. See how they like it. If we all did they everytime, they would quickly stop.

Yesterday a mean looking woman with a “”Tolerance Is Love” bumper sticker flipped me off and called me some bad things when I showed her my “Oh Crap” bumper sticker.

Because you haven't mastered the technique of looking at them, seemingly dumbfounded, shaking your head, muttering (loudly) "F'n Idiot!", turning and walking away.
But then I can count my liberal friends on the toes of one hand. Life is too short.
PC thought manifested in the political arena has already killed the USA. Twenty years ago, can anyone have imagined the US losing its AAA rating? A strong case can be made that PC legislation and regulations have caused this.

They really are very ugly people. They are definately influenced by -evil-. I don’t say that lightly because I can come to no other conclusion. There is no doubt that we are in a war between evil and good.
Liberals do scream and yell in your face. It happened to me, I almost had to call for security.
George Will wrote a column, I think it was called ‘anger is all the rage’. It’s kind of a fashionable thing to do, ‘get in their faces’, shout, intimidate, whenever a political discussion comes up.
the only thing to do is shout back, address the issue. ‘Stop screaming at me or I’ll call security’ or whatever. ‘You’re trying to frighten me, goddamn you, if you want to fight I’ll fight’.
the screaming and intimidation is the issue, not any point of logic or politics.
