Whitney was the first person to notice that the Tea Party keynote address she is scheduled to give in Waukee, Iowa falls on the third the three-year anniversary of her speech at the 2008 Republican National Convention (September 3rd).
The Governor seemed to provide a Preview of her speech in a press release from the Tea Party group:
Im very excited to join grassroots Iowans at the Restoring America event over Labor Day Weekend
Gatherings like this of independent liberty-loving Americans from every walk of life exemplify our commitment to come together to seek solutions to the problems confronting our nation. As Ive said many times, including at Pella during my last visit to Iowa: We dont need a fundamental transformation of America. We need a restoration of all that is good and strong and free. The 2012 election will be a great debate between those two conflicting visions for our country.
I’ll be there to listen to it!
She will most likely announce in Wasilla Alaska but this may be her big main event (no one knows for sure but it will be huge, no doubt)
I hope Palin takes the opportunity to apologize for her support of McLame and denounce him thoroughly. Especially after he went to the Senate floor and gave a lecture on how bad the Tea Party people is to our country today.
He is the most dangerous man in the Senate today. A two faced traitor.
Fate works in interesting ways.
No matter what she does, she will be essential to raising the conservative bar, and raising it above the heads of the RINOs and limp weaklings that are just old Washington doormats.
This is going to be interesting.
She’s running...
Handicapping — will Gov. Palin announce her intentions vis a vis 2012 POTUS candidacy?
And if she does will it be in the affirmative or negative?
Yeah he only won reelection with a 24 point margin, and having the GOP vice president, and president candidates at each other’s throats in 2010, would have cut his margin down to a 20 point victory and cost Republicans half of their gains in that historical 2010 sweep.
Palin did the right thing.
And...and?
Anybody want to predict what her next sentence will be in her speech?
you need to moveon.org to a new talking point.
You need to see what McLame did today. Maybe you would be as incensed as I am.
McCain refers to 'tea party hobbits,' blasts Bachmann-backed idea

She now owns the stage.
Pray for America
The hair on my feet grew an inch when I head what McLame said today! Ate a few seed cakes and stoked up the pipe!
Won't go down like that, but you can bet that Palin will let McCain know exactly how she feels, once she's ready to strike.
Palin's real supporters already understand why she lent McCain her support in his last Senate bid, and they all despised McCain anyway. She repaid him for 'bringing her to the dance', which is what she had to do, or forever be known as a back-stabbing, disloyal b*tch.
There was no way out for her, once he asked for her endorsement. She either gave it, or walked away from any future career in politics. What really gets me, is McCain knew this, but asked for her endorsement anyway, knowing that it would taint her in some conservative's eyes. That man is as low as they come.
Now that she's got that out of the way, she's got bigger fish to fry, and is far too smart to inflict damage on her own campaign by publicly condemning McCain for (yet another) stupid statement. No, let him take the heat all by himself. No need for her to get burned by adding fuel to the mix.
She'll handle uncle crazy in her own time, and when it's most appropriate.
Apparently she’s about to hire a press secretary? Duh! You got my answer :)
>>Apparently shes about to hire a press secretary? Duh! You got my answer :)<<
I’ll take that as a “yep!”
I remain skeptical.
You seem to be the only person on the thread who hasn't figured it out. Guess you'll have to read it in the NY Times to get your answer.
Don't go dying on us in anticipation, ya hear? LOL

And when she doesn’t announce, one way or the other, what will you say?
