I’m sick of this. There is just nothing more to say other than “this woman is pathetic.” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) figures there is no reason – other than race – for Republicans to treat the president “so disrespectfully.” I guess she forgets how Democrats and lefties treated President George W. Bush.

“I do not understand what I think is the maligning and maliciousness [toward] this president,” said Jackson Lee, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. “Why is he different? And in my community, that is the question that we raise. In the minority community that is question that is being raised. Why is this president being treated so disrespectfully? Why has the debt limit been raised 60 times? Why did the leader of the Senate continually talk about his job is to bring the president down to make sure he is unelected?”
Earlier in her speech, Jackson Lee said Obama has been targeted unlike any other president.
“I am particularly sensitive to the fact that only this president — only this one, only this one — has received the kind of attacks and disagreement and inability to work, only this one,” said Jackson Lee from the House floor.

Impossible to vote her out. Her district is Gerry Mandered to be hard core dem on purpose. It has almost nothing but inner city Blacks and illegal/green card non-English speaking Hispanics in it.
Local talk radio blasts her on a daily basis and even the network affiliates lampoon her to no avail. The rest of the greater Houston area thinks she is a joke, but the district keeps voting her back in...

Bears repeating and thanks for saying it. - Thing is, when the useful idiots amongst the elite Liberals, Leftists, and Socialists have realized their dream, and the hard core COMMUNISTS come in with guns blazing - the useful idiots are usually the first ones the COMMUNISTS execute. - Which is he? elite Liberal? Leftist? Socialist? or hard core COMMUNIST?
Oh, and, too, they think they can harness radical Islam to do their dirty work; but they may get fooled.

The Republicans have drawn the last two redistricting maps. Setting it up like this insures her incompetent tail goes to DC, but leaves the rest of the Greater Houston area safely Republican. There are two other similar districts (IIRC) in Harris County that are that way.
Houston is the nation’s third largest city, as in most of the large cities there is a lib group to deal with. Thankfully not as bad as N.Y. or L.A.
Would not surprise me if the Republicans do it again just in time for next year.
This is why “gerry mandered” districts should be made ILLEGAL.

Besides gerrymandering her district to look rather rude, in some places it's only as wide as the street, she keeps getting re-elected by the people that vote a straight dem ticket.
Plus there is no one to run against her and the people that do get no support from the GOP. I make it an effort every time to vote for the "anyone but her" person. Lordy she's an idiot.
Someone has to draw districts as the are based on changing population. Whatever group draws them is going to do it in a manner that advances their agenda. I see no way out of “jerry mandering”.
Besides, the Republicans in Texas did this one on purpose. It leaves safe republican districts all around Houston, just not in it.
