Gallup: Liberals, Democrats, Grad Students, Easterners More Likely to be Atheists

When the Founding Fathers declared America’s independence from Great Britain, they founded the United States with a declaration that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.

Two hundred and thirty-five years later, according to a new Gallup poll, the vast majority of Americans continue to believe in God. But self-identified liberals, Democrats, Independents, people with post-graduate educations, and Easterners are less likely to say the believe in God than conservatives, Republicans, people without post-graduate educations and Americans from the South, West and Midwest.

Young adults between the ages of 18-29 are also less likely to say they believe in God than Americans over 30.

Gallup surveyed 1,018 American adults from May 5-8. It asked 530 of these Americans “Do you believe in God?” and 488 of them “Do you believe in God or a universal spirit?”

Ninety-two percent of the first group said they believed in God, and 91 percent of the second group said they believed in God or a universal spirit.

Seven percent of the first group said they did not believe in God and 8 percent of the second group said they did not believe in God or a universal spirit.

In both groups, only 1 percent said they had no opinion on the matter.

When the combined results for both questions were broken down demographically certain patterns emerged.

Most graduate students have no common sense or they wouldn't be there. I know, I used to be one.

Libs, dems, grads and easterners pretty much view themselves as the center of the universe and worthy of self-worship—no surprise to me.

The young are the future, we’re screwed.

Unless the trend can be reversed, get the kids out of public schools!

The scrptures say this is going to happen in end times - putting themselves as God - they are the center of the universe and rely only on themselves. They don’t even know they are described in scripture.

2 Thessalonians 11-12

11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

That entire chapter (2nd Thessalonians 2) is worth reading again. It describes the libtard ruling class in a nutshell. For that matter, the entire 2nd Epistle of St. Paul, in three short chapters, describes our modern times better than about any Bible chapter.

No, I wouldn't worry.
If you look at most kids these days, their overreliance on technology, their work ethic (or lack thereof), and more importantly - who in our society is doing the reproducing, we need not fear that the population, in general, will increase in it's level of knowledge or intelligence.

Two words.

Intellectual pride.

Also, if you're currently in grad school, for anything but an industrial-ready role, you likely don't have a prayer.

Cheers!
