We don’t need and cannot survive the effect of another Ross Perot.

I can not vouch for the veracity of this link, but if true,
it should scare the wits out of you to think who is serving as POTUS.
I would be interested in any opinions.

But can we trust the Donald as our candidate?? Regardless, I think his popularity now is more about the ability to get in Obama’s dishonest face, than proving the birth certificate issue. Keep fighting, Donald, I’m loving it!

"Can you imagine the utter humiliation of the GOP, Romney, MSM, and much of the American public when Trump proves Obama wasn't born here?"

Not to mention the repeal of every law the imposter signed, every appointed judge he put into office and the cute orange jumpsuit he will get to wear while enjoying his extended vacation in prison.

Yes I can imagine that, I just hope it comes true.

I guess we wiull soon see what Trump is made of.

Is he really making a serious effort or just playing around.?

If he finds some evidence here he will have Nancy Pelosi and the top politicians of both parties by the short hairs.
They should all be looking at their hole cards and ondering when to toss in their hands.Let’s also not forget the news folks, like Limbaugh, Beck, and O’Reilly who have gone along with this farce.

Trump’s investigation could be earth shattering or a dud. If a dud it will be interesting to see how Trump plans to get out of it.

Rove threw a hissy fit on Greta last night. I’m not sure I can trust Trump but he sure is hitting the buttons right now. I am more sure than ever my detest grows for rove, mitt, huck ,charles k.,haley, mccain and many more.If McCain were elected there would be no Tea Party. The frog in the boiling water analogy is perfect for what is happening.
You can trust a Democrat to do what he is elected to do. Can you a Republican?

Or how about the utter humiliation of Trump's chumps when he proves nothing and doesn't even run or complete his campaign?

But then, Trump's Chumps are the most gullible among us, so they'll just find someone else to adore and pin their hopes on, until that fails, then they'll find another, etc.

It's not about where he was born. It's never been about where he was born. Can we please forget about where he was born?

Obama could have been born on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, and he STILL would not be eligible to hold the office of president, because his father was not a US citizen.

THIS is what makes Obama ineligible under Article II, Section I, of the Constitution.

IF someone else would have stepped up to the plate Trump would not be there but low and behold no one else will touch Obama. Yesterday he talked of Rezko, anyone else out there questioning that? NOPE, he basically challenged the media to look into it! He is calling EVERYONE to the carpet and I love it!

Yes I can, in much the same way that I can imagine my mother in law winning the Miss Universe pageant, Lady Gaga being replaced at the top of the charts by Lucinda Williams, and the Chicago Cubs sweeping the Yankees in the 2011 World Series.

Imagination is indeed a marvelous thing.

All this is about “leaders”. They are important, but isn't it axiomatic that a people has the leaders it deserves?

What is really needed is an active and informed citizenry.

How many generations is it now that public education at all levels has not taught what it means to be a citizen.

The old saw about all it takes is for good people to do nothing ....

There are too few, it seems, who understand or appreciate the rights and prerogatives of being the citizen of a republic.

If we had that active and informed citizenry, as a majority of the population, leadership would be far less important.

And the “business” of government would be far more restricted.

And political office would be far less attractive, or important.

And an active and informed citizenry would never let a hereditary political class form as we have in this country.

It takes years, generations, to build up ourselves to the point of competent citizenry. Just like it took years and generations to dumb us down.

In the meantime what do we do, vote for the lesser of two weevils?

Trump’s prospective candidacy for President should be taken very seriously, because it addresses (or takes advantage of) the central problem of the American Crisis: On the things that really matter, the elected officials of both parties are unified, and unified against the hopes and dreams of a majority of the American people.

Set aside the birth certificate for moment.

The most consequential developments of the last 40 years are:

1) Job loss,
2) “Free” trade that isn’t free,
3) Extortion over natural resources by foreign “owners” who could do nothing without Western expertise, energy, and investment,
4) Loss of control of the borders,
5) Replacement of a functional money system with gross overexpansion of credit, and,
6) Loss of respect for the created (as opposed to engineered) nature of human beings.

On these six issues, both parties have formed a phalanx to keep them out of politics and hence away from the control, or even the influence, of the voters.

Trump, whether by calculation, conviction, or accident speaks to all of these issues, in an easy to understand way that conveys the message, “I understand”. Like deGaulle’s “Je vous ai compris”, this message may prove irresistable in times like these.

It’s too bad that he is for Universal Healthcare! That is a massive check mark against him. Put Americans back to work - made in America should be the theme! Let everyone purchase their own insurance where ever they want and get the government out of that business.

This is a huge sore spot for me! I love what Donald Trump is doing, but Universal Healthcare is not one of them.

Trump is with Allen West today at a Tea Party function in Florida.

A Trump/West ticket would neutralize the race card and put the debate squarely in the “competence” category. And West knows a lot about the “Muslim Problem”.
