Sarah is slated to appear on the local ‘Bob & Mark In the Morning Show’ April 1 to make a big announcement — is this an April Fools’ Day joke?
It seems like the day we have all waited for and/or feared is upon us — Sarah Palin is set to make a major announcement on the Anchorage-based Bob & Mark In the Morning Show April 1. Sarah has said if she were to make a presidential run she would announce it on the early-morning radio show on which she appeared roughly three times a week while running for governor of Alaska in 2006. Palin 2012?
A source from the station tells HollywoodLife.com, “Looks like Palin might be on this Friday at 7:30 a.m. Working out details now, but right now it’s about 99% locked in. Gonna be a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!” Sarah has said all along — including on the final episode of her TLC show Sarah Palin’s Alaska — that she would announce her candidacy on the radio via Bob and Mark.
Sarah has long been vague as to whether or not she would run in 2012 and, with April being the month many candidates announce their presidential ambitions, it seems like America will finally be getting an answer from their favorite Hockey Mom!

It may be shallow of me - but announcing on April 1 would give the late-night talk shows LOTS of fodder. I’m sure she has thought of that though.

From a more practical standpoint, it's the first day of a new quarter, which may make it a good target simply for simplifying book-keeping with the FEC.
Perhaps she will release her birth certificate and challenge Obama to do the same.

Not sure if anyone’s explained this yet, but Bob & Mark are two radio DJ’s with a show in Alaska. They’re friends of Sarah’s, and she promised them that they’d be the first to know.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Go Sarah. She is the only one that can fix the mess we are in. The only thing we are going to have to do is give her longer than the typically 100 days to magically clean the disaster that is Obama. (You know how the media is all over the President after 100 days. President Bush they were just awful too). President Palin should have her first state dinner with Israel being the honored guests. Followed by Japan, Britain, Germany, Poland (to get the missile defense back on line), Australia and finally Canada. I can’t think of anymore really important countries that Obama alienated....he has done this to so many countries that it is hard to keep track. I chose Japan after Israel as a kind gesture for the heck they are going through right now.
Both the 1st and the 15th - Tax Day - are Fridays. Not a good day to announce.

How about April 15th!? I think that this year, April 15 is also being celebrated as Immancipation Day from slavery. Pretty ironic in that now we are slaves to the government with all the taxes we pay. She could fit both ideas into a good speech IMHO.
