Sarah Palin to visit Israel (Meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu and MKs)
The Jerusalem Post ^ | March 17, 2011 | Staff

Potential 2012 Republican presidential candidate Sarah Palin is expected to arrive in Israel for a visit next week, Army Radio reported on Thursday.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential candidate follows several other prominent republicans who have visited Israel recently, including Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Haley Barbour.

According to the report, Palin's visit will be private, but she will meet with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and other members of Israel's right-wing, including Likud MK Danny Danon.

If she does... she needs to record GPS positions for spotting Artillery fire.

Anyone hear the (alleged GOP) caller to Rush yesterday who said she’s anti-Palin because once when Sarah was walking carrying Trig, she didn’t hold Piper’s hand? Sheesh.

It was so stupid that Rush was laughing at her and called her “entertainment”.

“Shadow president.”

That was my thought as well. Despite the media portrayal of her, Sarah is a serious person. In contrast to our current president.

Thank you, Sarah! You’ve got my absentee vote should you decide to run!

While she’s over there it would be a good time to also visit Gaza and build contacts with the Palestinian leadership.

The only "contacts" she needs there are the GPS coordinates for paving HamasStan with smart bombs, once she's President. "The bombing starts in five minutes", indeed.

I hope she gets that briefing from Ashkenazi.

Best,

Actually, yes, if you've been attention. Ever since she came out on the national scene, it's been pointed out that she keeps an Israeli flag (a small one) in her office.

Underscoring once again the point that evangelicals are more supportive of Israel than American Jews are.

Gosh, I hope she doesn’t go making foreign policy like a certain kenyan the election in 2008. Although it really would be good to have one.

Ha! My bifocals would argue with that depiction. :)

But, it is visible enough to be recognized, in my opinion, especially if you already know about the fact that she keeps the flag in her office (and often as a lapel pin, too).

Good move by Sarah. Getting to know our allies.

2 huge messages here the lame streams will never see.

1. I am Pro Israel vs. the current occupant with his bizarre anti Semitic leanings. 2. I am not carrying around some weird anti-colonial England baggage from daddy...

Great points. These need to hammered home repeatedly during the campaign - at least on the internet and talk radio.

I also have read she will go to England to meet Lady Thatcher

This was stated months ago. I wonder if she will finally go there and meet with her.

Wouldn't it be sweet if she got invited to the Royal Wedding?? Wow...what a slap that would be.

I think Lady Thatcher’s health precludes that meeting...

When Bibi meets with Sarah his greatest sorrow will be that the Lady in front of him is not PRESIDENT Palin. You know the high regard in which he holds Sarah and the disdain he has for O'Vacation.

C'mon 2012!

My eyes must be old too, MinuteGal. I've been paying attention, but I couldn't figure it out either.

Looking at the pictures of the Taj Palace, I hope they give her the Executive Suite. :-) Wasn't this the hotel where Obama rented a whole floor at America's expense? And wasn't this the same hotel that was attacked by terrorists? I sincerely hope she has a security detail with her.

I kind of gathered that. It’s a shame. What a lady she is. Praying for better health for her...the world still needs her! (imo)
