conservatives4palin.com posted an open thread earlier in the afternoon specifically tailored to the Dobbs interview tonight.
Now c4p only shows a blank screen.
And Palin did not appear on Dobb's premiere episode tonight after Fox News had also advertised Palin's presence on the program over the weekend.
What gives?
So WTF does that mean?
I am just speculating but the only time I saw it advertised that she was going to be on was in the NY magazine article. But someone said they saw tv promos over the weekend??? I think she might have had it wit FNC after the NY Mag story. The sooner she announces the better!!!
No, you don’t always have to post the word, “Ping” inside the posting box, if you’re simply making comment to more than one person.
Now, if your intention is to alert a handful of Freepers to a particular thread, that’s the way to do it (although I get pinged constantly by many who don’t).
But, that’s just my take on it. My intention was only to help a fellow poster with the mechanics involved.
I hope Sarah kicks @ss in India, to the consternation of Pollutico.
Cheers!
Right on. I understood that.
I also hope that Sarah shows Bozo to be the worthless community rabble rouser that he is, on her India trip. I'll bet she'll do it with half her brain tied behind her back, just to make it fair ;-)
Now, now. Palin has the benefit of all of Ronald Reagan's experiences to draw on, plus her own. That automatically puts her in a better position than he was, at the same moment in his life.
For those reasons alone, she'll not likely repeat some of his more egregious errors (like trusting the Democrats to keep their end of any bargain).
My personal take on the Reagan/Palin comparisons boils down to the observation that these two fine patriots were simply hewn from the same species of magnificent timber. No - they're not the same people (wish folks would get past that), but they do share an amazing number of similar qualities, experiences, and personal traits.
She going to have one of these some day? Whatever she is and it may be great, it's a bogus comparison.
Geez, friend. Take a longer view, if you can (both backward, and forward in time).
In 1980, people said the exact same things as you're saying, about Ronald Reagan. NO - Sarah Palin is NOT Ronald Reagan, just as he wasn't anyone who came before him.
The POINT, is that Palin shares many qualities with Reagan that were central to all that he accomplished in life. There is no reason to believe that if she goes on to become the 45th president, that she won't achieve similar things.
Now, if you're of the camp who believe that Sarah Palin is a backwater dunce with an 'aw shucks' simpleton's view of the world, then nothing I say will make the slightest sense to you.
Reagan did appoint Sandra Day to the court, and in fact he told us through his post presidency notes that he in fact did NOT regret doing so. Not only that but he spoke less than respectfully about pro lifers over it, saying something like they had their shorts in a knot over it.
And then he went along and planned to have this same woman take part in his funeral.
So when you trash Palin because she is no Reagan, just remember the reverse is also true....that being... Reagan is no Palin.
I don’t understand your question.
I don’t understand what Sarah was trying to get across. She need to quit “tweeting”, if forces one to act and sound like a moron.
Oh. Well it’s easier to read at the twitter site or if you subscribe. The formatting didn’t come through in my post.
It’s just a comment and a link to an article. Seen hundreds of times a day here on FR.
But hey, Twitter’s not for everyone.
What’s with ‘if she goes on to become the 45th president’?
surely, you mean, when she goes on to become the 45th president?
Did I say "if"? I must have been trying to be diplomatic with someone. I've already taken to calling Sarah, "45".
