You may have missed the introduction of the .577 T Rex when it debuted several years ago. Its an over sized elephant gun that shoots a 750 grain bullet at between 2,150 and about 2,500 fps depending on the load. The target is hit with 10,000 pounds of force when impacted by a round from this thirteen pound rifle.
There was a video made of of people test firing it. Of the twenty four unsuspecting people who shot it, seven people could not hold on to it during the recoil when it fired, and the rifle flew from their grasp. Its really a shoulder cannon.
Ray Bradbury, author of "A Sound of Thunder,"would be proud. And, of course, when zombies attack just try to line up 15 or so of them and take care of them like Pancho Villa did with 3 or 4 Federales at a time in the early 1900's. Zombies should be softer targets. Here's the video...

That’s an insane weapon. A 45/70 Marlin rifle with ammo loaded with 400+ grain bullets will kill anything in Africa and would kill dinosaurs other than sauropods if there were any still around.
Look up Mark Sullivan and his Zambia safari videos. He is/was(?) a sponsored by Nitro Express and his videos are amazing.
That was FUNNY!!
Thanks for the laugh this morning! I needed it.
:o])
From the video, the rifle clearly has to have a muzzle break and doesn’t appear to have one, and it has to have somebody over 200 lbs shooting it.
That’s just not a reasonable weapon.
“Shooting rabbits with an elephant gun...”
The answer is Muzzle Brake. I have a 458 that shoots like a 30-06 with a brake and a 375 HH mag that I can shoot without a pad. Trouble with these guns is that there are no free roaming Lions and Elephants in Colorado.
The Tyrannosaur was developed as a "sure kill" defensive chambering for professional brush guides and other highly experienced African dangerous-game gunners. The relatively light bolt action guns that chamber it give much-enhanced firepower over a traditional double rifle. But it's not for tyros or the uninitiated.
.270 is as big a caliber I care to shoot in a rifle. Plenty of speed and power for any furry critter I plan to shoot.
Thanks for posting! That’s the funniest thing I’ve seen in awhile!
I have seen it before. Imagine trimming down a Barret .50 BMG rifle to about 12 pounds and removing the muzzle brake. Then imagine being kicked by a 1400 lb horse.

More reasonable
A Gun for Dinosaur...
I’d like two, please. One for each shoulder.
Oh, and a laminated sleeve to store my medical information.
To paraphrase Rick James, “T Rex is a helluva gun.”
The biggest of his I've shot is a .585. Once was enough!, but when taking down big game, those guys will empty the magazine!
a .45, a .620 Nitro Express, and a .700 Nitro Express
I must be turning into a wimp. I shot some 12-gauge slugs last week with my Remington 870, and thought that was about the most recoil I could comfortably handle.
Ahh! But there are lots of free roaming liberals...
