Kathy Griffin has never been one to shy away from controversy, especially controversy that involves Sarah Palin, even going as far as making weight jokes about Palin’s daughter, Bristol. It was also recently announced that Griffin would be playing a “a middle-aged ‘recent Tea Party candidate and home-schooler — a Sarah Palin type” on the hit show “Glee.”
One can imagine that all this might be wearing on Palin and in an interview with Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro, Palin let lose saying:
“You know Kathy Griffin can do anything to me or say about me, because you know, she’s kind of this – she’s a fifty year old adult – boy really is what she is. She’s kind of a has-been comedian and she can do those things to me. I would just ask for respect of my children. As she had stated on CNN that her new year’s resolution was to destroy my 16 year old daughter – that takes it a little too far. Kathy pick on me, come up to Alaska and pick on me, but leave my kids alone.”

Calling Kathy Griffin a “has-been” is charitable on the part of Mrs. Palin. Griffin is a “never-was”.
Sir. I did not mean to infer that you personally were corrupt, but that the oil industry in Alaska has had issues with corruption. I allowed my passion to cloud my better judgment resulting in a poor choice of words. I apologize and will no longer be directing posts in your direction either directly or indirectly.
No doubt I am in the minority but I'm with you. I'm sure this horrible woman is just jumping up and down with glee at all of this...just think, she's finally made the "A" list! And all her rejoinders and verbal assaults will be replayed ad infinitum, over months and YEARS, by the willing pimps who pass themselves off as "the media."
The thought of it all makes me want to hurl. So much for any focus on issues.
Sorry, I can't keep track. She still needs to rise above the trailerpark fights. Even if she is making national and international policy statements like she should, they aren't going to make the headlines if she lets herself get distracted. I need someone to vote for, and an outsider like her would be a good choice.
Sarah’s not running yet; in fact, I doubt she does run - so she can whup as many seriously vicious liberal butts as she likes if they trash her family if she wants.
I didn’t sling mud at you. I just pointed out your obsession with hating Sarah Palin to the point that you post almost on every Palin thread her glaring deficiencies, missteps, misspeaks, etc.,etc.
Maybe you can’t handle the truth, but you really need to step back and reassess whether you are in the right place or not.
Hypercriticizism of her and anyone who doesn’t buy into your view of her, isn’t helping the cause, even though you may think so.
Because if someone who has her guts doesn’t take on Omama next year, there won’t be a FreeRepublic.com by 2014.
And the field of RINO squishes are not up to the task.
