Prayers up for one of the most noble of God's creatures on Earth. I hope you can find out what's troubling your Lab and that God sees fit to help her recover to health and happiness. I'll add a prayer for you, for peace of mind as you work through the tough times that come whenever a loved pet is in trouble.
Best FRegards,
Dayglored

Our nearest vet is 180 miles away. We are in snow and cannot take her till morning.

WOOOF!
The Doggie Ping list is for FReepers who would like to be notified of threads relating to all things canid. If you would like to join the Doggie Ping Pack (or be unleashed from it), FReemail Joe 6-Pack.
ColdOne is 180 miles from the vet...and in snow at the moment...so the vet can NOT happen till morning. Please pray and if the poster comes back on...and can give list symptoms...please help if you can. Thanks!

Poor Tasha. :-(
I hope she gets better soon.
My little dog is a real family member and I’d be
sick with worry if he was ill.

She is out of it. Doesn’t want to lie down as if she cannot. She is breathing heavy a bit, her nose is hot and her eyes have been glassy all day. She has her appetite.

To: ColdOne
It must hurt her to lie down; you’d best get to a vet right away to make sure her she hasn’t got a twisted stomach.
To: ColdOne
I’m very sorry for your distress. Wondering if it could be bloat? Hope and prayers that your dog will be okay.
To: ColdOne
Your dog has my prayers.
HAVE you considered calling 911 and asking if they can hook you up with a vet to talk you through this. Depending on the issue, you don’t have a lot of time.
What does “She is out of it.” mean? Specifically.
Any chance she’s found some rat poison?
When and what did she eat last?
When did she last exercise?
Sorry, the the more info that you give us, the more we might be able to help.
