Okay, many of you have learned some of the fundamentals of the art of couponing and you have gone HOG WILD! Suddenly you are stockpiling vast quantities of FREE (or almost free) stuff. However, you might also find out that you are quickly running out of space for storing all those freebies.
Welcome to the club. When I first began couponing in a big way nearly 2 years ago, I went overboard in the couponing department. Suddenly I had like a year's supply of toilet paper covering my walls. However, after a few weeks I had to ask myself whether I really enjoyed sitting down to dinner next to a wall covered with TP. The answer was NO. Therefore, after my TP supply began running low after nearly a year, I only stockpiled a modest amount which was completely hidden from view. My couponing skills have grown to the point where I never worry about running out of TP so I keep no more than about a 3 month supply on hand. Trust me, my tush will never do without TP because there are FREQUENT deals on TP as well as paper towels.

Duh! I knew that! I just read it too fast. It’s been a long week. (Dh has taken a job in Ohio and since November I have been playing Mom and Dad while we wait for the house to sell and we can move to be with him—at the latest the end of May, when we move if the house has sold or not. Three of the four kids are in school, so I am dealing with homework, extracurricular stuff, the housework, cooking, caring for the 3 y.o., the bills, and some of the stuff my husband would do if he were here.)
I’ll read your post again in the morning when I’m sufficiently loaded with caffeine to function :) Many thanks!
Please add me to the Ping List! I can’t think of a better place to learn that FR :)
Question: Can I do this without buying the local liberal rag (aka newspaper). I hate giving them one dime or being part of their subscription base for ad rates.

Oh, you’re already on the list.
Please add me to the list. I love expert saving advice :)
Thanks for these tips/sites.
Yeah, I have a deal like that going on cat litter at Wal-Mart. Not to mention all of the cat food that the Dove deodorant paid for. God, I love that deal...I was sad to spend the last of my +ups from it today...
Anytime. :)
When I PJ first pointed me to those sites, it was like a light turned on for the first time. Now, my wife is torn between loving all the money I’m saving and wondering how the heck her husband became a crazy coupon lady.
We used to stock the house mostly from BJ’s, but I was in there the other day and I’d say about 75% of the things we used to buy there are now taken care of for free or low cost with couponing. Cat food, litter, all toiletries, tuna, pasta sauce, etc.
I just need to find someone who’s willing to barter bourbon and meat for a bunch of free deodorant and I’m in hog heaven! :D
LOL realized it as soon as I hit send and sent you a freepmail. Great idea to have this But I still wonder if I have to subscribe to paper. I canceled my subscription when they endorsed dear leader and don’t want to give them a dime!
Love my coupons! Add me too, please? :)

Please add me. Thanks.
You don’t have to keep the paper. It can be handy for having coupons you just want one of, but it’s hardly a necessity. I did just subscribe to the paper for the first time. I did a weekends only subscription. It’ll give me paper to start the bbq and coupons, so it’ll come in handy.
In order to really get into couponing, you’ve got to buy your coupons online or have some other source that can get you many of the same coupon.
Thank you!
please add me!
Would you please add me to your PING list?
Thanks!
