Obama believes he is the supreme law of the land, and everyone is responsible to him and to him allow. Look at his contempt of Courts regarding the Moratarium on Oil Drilling, The Supreme Courts decision on McCain-Feingold Law and Corporate Donations. What about the Florida Courts Judge DVinson’s Decision regarding ObamaCare? He is contempt of evry issue that is passed that is contrary to his viewpoint. The Republican leadership in DC has no backbone. Boehner will cave like the whiney little girl that he is. Be prepared to grab your ankles pretty soon because Obama will continue to be contentious and arrogant.

Reid Cherlin - Yale '03

Reid Cherlin that makes it sound as though Obama may be moving farther down the road of quashing all meaningful investigation:

“The subpoena raises complicated legal questions” because the administration’s “obligation to protect the institution of the presidency” is “in conflict” with the committee’s “desire to get to the truth,” presidential spokesman Reid Cherlin said in an e-mail.

Between this and the Dems dumping on Issa’s past he should start issuing subpoenas concerning Obama’s eligibility..Get off the pot Issa!

I’d have Abercrombie,Mike Evans the reporter along with HDOH subpoena for records being served right now.

What a wonderful opportunity for the House to freeze all budget matters until the White House complies with all subpoenas. The President is starving the nation. Obama is Obstructing America. Criminal Acts and Criminal Cronies, should be the cry of every Republican in Congress. No Man is above the law. Bumper Sticker Time.
Use the tactics the left has planned for the Republicans on Budget Cuts before they can use them on us.

With this, the probability of the WH ignoring subpoenas, and the Administration ignoring two court rulings (Obamacare and Gulf drilling) I think there are enough real crimes to start impeachment proceedings.

I know they will fall flat or at least not be followed through in the Senate but this stuff is serious and Obama and his bunch have performed impeachable acts.

Issa has so far refused to subpoena the Obama birth records. Obama probably thinks Issa’s a pushover.

. . . President Obama declined a request for a top economic adviser to testify before an oversight panel about the president’s economic stimulus law.

Nothing unusual here, nor is it a sign of an increasing antagonistic relationship between Dems and 'Pubbies. It is virtally standard procedure for sitting presidents to refuse to allow members of their staff to testify before Congress.

This is truly much ado about nothing and a tempest in a teapot if ever there was one!!

Wonder what will happen if Issa wants a Czar to testify?

that would really blow up, no congressional oversight at all.
Would almost seem .. socialist
