Hello Couponeers!
Today we shall learn that you can NEVER stop learning about effective couponing. Just when you THINK you might know all there is to know about coupons, whole new previously undiscovered worlds can open up to you. And in the case of The Coupon Whisperer the world of PDS file coupons opened up for me last night.
You see, I have been operating under the assumption that you can only print out only a couple of coupons of a particular type from the Web. In most cases that is true. However, as I learned last night there is a BIG exception to this rule.

The Commercial Appeal..aka Commie Appeal or Comic Appeal in Memphis. Thankfully Redplum also sends us coupons via mail :-)
I even get great deals at the Navy Commissary, not as many as at Kroger’s but dairy, and meat are always cheaper at the Commissary and the meat very good. Brats are $1.99 at the Commissary vs what the grocery store charges.
You have to watch things like batteries which are cheaper at the Commissary than at the Exchange, but the Exchange has no sales tax, whereas the Commissary has a 5% fee, but not the 9.75% sales tax for TN. Yeah, the sales tax is high and on food, but we have NO state Income Tax!
You have to flip flop unless you find one that rolls. Often P&G RRs will roll but not always.
Sinex RR was rolling for a long time..months..and then it stopped.
Herbal essence sometimes rolls. The Pantene rolled. Etc.
Sheesh! In Florida we have no income tax and NO sales tax on food or medicine. Also our rate is 6%. I understand that in Nevada there is NO income tax and NO sales tax on anything. I hope we NEVER have a sales tax on food or medicine here.
Welcome aboard, PINGEE #182.
No sales tax on RX meds, but OTC is another story. Food is 9.50, other items is 9.75.
Nevada has Vegas to support the state. TN has nothing but a stupid lottery and sales tax along with the usual fees for things.
Just picked up 43.00 worth of soups, a free soy sauce and a free speggetios all for 14.00 from Bi-Lo.
Thanks for the tips.
Sorry, add to that 2 cans of Blue Diamond almonds included.
Just checking in quickly (before I split to do some couponing) to let everybody know this is one of the BEST couponing weeks in months. So what are the deals? Hey, check the MANY forums on the subject and find out for yourselves. The deals are out there. You just need to look for them.
Publix had MilkBone dog biscuits 2 for $5 which is a pretty good price. The coupon on the box was$1.50 so I paid $1.18 for a box that is normally close to $4/box. I’m so easily amused!
I’m sure PJ and RC already know this but the Arnicare deal is still going at Walgreens. I’ve found that not all cashiers/managers will accept the mc, so depending on who you deal with, it can still be a moneymaker.
Got lucky yesterday as two of my Walgreens restocked the Diabetes mag.
Right Guard Body Wash for everybody (look for the peelie.)
My $89 grocery bill at Krogers was $35 yesterday, that is a 62% savings. I bought 3 bottles of All for $1.99 each. Krogers sends you free stuff coupons after youve shopped with them a short while...which = free coffee (Kroger) which is better than Folgers, and the Cheerios. I wont have to buy laundry soap for 4 months!
And I now have enough fuel points to get 10 cents a gal off gas when I fill the car this week.
Vitamins at RiteAid all of which were Buy One Get One Free (BOGO)Saved $8 with coupons, earned $9 in Register Rewards to buy 12 pk double roll TP and kleenex. Spent enough at Walgreens on hair stuff which I needed, saved $8 in coupons, earned $5 in Register Rewards which I bought 8 pk of Viva paper towels, final cost $1.36. Got dog dental sticks FREE, a battery tooth brush BOGO at the Navy Commissary.
Try using the Arnicare coupon in the box. It will beep but they might be more willing to take it.
The MAIN problem with Aricare is that it just isn’t on the shelves any longer. All bought up it seems.
Treasure that Neuragen deal. WORSHIP IT!!!
Hot deal coming up at the end of the month.
Motrin PM 3 get 3 back. Use the 6/2 coupon to make 3 bucks.
