Hooray for the women of Brazil! On Jan. 1, Dilma Rousseff became Brazil's first female president. How long will the United States remain the only industrialized nation in the world to shun a woman's right to lead?
I am convinced there is a fear piercing the heads of certain Americans, an unspoken fear no one will admit or even quietly discuss. Why else was such a radical and highly suspect campaign used to defeat Hillary Clinton in her race for the presidency? Does anyone seriously believe that she was not the most qualified Democrat running?
When Sarah Palin hit the scene as a VP candidate, the media torched her like a 1955 yard-cross in Mississippi. She has charisma and brains. Yet media maggots made history in their attempt to slay Palin. Why? The answer is a fear of power in the hands of any woman.
Women, wake up and unite! It's time to fight, as our grandmothers did when they were finally given voting rights as though it were a gift. Palin or another bright female could be the best thing to happen to America since apple pie (she can bake) and Facebook (she can also Tweet).
There would be no bowing or apologies made round the world. She could multi-task, stir the political pot, strain off years of rancid tallow, and replace that pork with fresh intelligence, along with a single agenda--to repair our nation. She would spend less time on the golf course and touting her programs and more time creating jobs, protecting our borders, slashing government spending, and leading our nation.
How long will it take before We the Women scrub sex discrimination from our White House doors? Ladies, prepare to expunge the old-boys' presidential club and watch positive changes promote the world's most powerful yet benevolent nation: America.
Which woman?
Comments? Stupid article pushing the leftist agenda.
There are brilliant, smart and sensible women. There are hateful, crazy women who see sexism EVERYWHERE and are on a crusade.
Which type will rise? Unfortunately, we get Hillary, Pelosi, Boxer, etc. Hillary is obsessed with hatred for her father, so the rest of us MUST PAY. Pelosi is just the worst type of political whore, Boxer is simple-minded, etc.
Why no great Republican women running for office? Some are surfacing, but it is a slow process.
When Palin runs, I’m pretty sure no-one will be voting for her because she’s a woman.
All that identity-politics cr*p is on the other side, thank God.
I mean ... voting for JUST because she’s a woman.
In the U.S., our leaders aren’t selected by “right” ... a woman will lead if and when one convinces a majority that she is the best candidate for the job. So far, no go.

Palin 2012 !
Have you been under a rock or in a cave for the last two years? Ever heard of a gal named Governor Sarah Palin?
She was attacked because the Left disagrees with her positions, which they especially worried about in her case because she is a charismatic woman—and they were afraid she’d peel off some of their female constituency. She wasn’t attacked because those on the left or the right fear a woman in power. Jeesh!
So now it's a right for some loony broad to 'lead'? Hillary was crushed by a more vicious commie. Had nothing to do with her alleged sex.
China, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, and many other industrialized nations have never had a female head of State. I guess they’re all backwards too, but not worthy of direct condemnation...
Bull poop. The left would love Nancy pelosi or Hillary to run the country. They don’t hate Sarah because she is a woman. They hate her because she is an attractive, bold, Conservative woman.
So by restricting things to "industrialized" nations, the author conveniently excludes places like Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc. If we got a good female candidate, we'd elect her. In those places, they wouldn't. So there.
Besides, when did a woman run Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, France, Spain, Italy, etc? Since when are we the only nation to not have a female leader?
