CBS News allowed the following comment to be published on its website, following an article about Obama’s visit to Arizona yesterday:
... Who were the doctor(s) and nurse(s) at Kapi`Olani that delivered Barack? My ex-wife worked at the hospital and I understand the records at Kapi’Olani are impeccable. Where are the foot prints? What public records exist that can even demonstrate that Mrs. Obama was even at Kapi’Olani on the day of Barack’s birth? Talk at Kapi`Olani, would have been unabashed, the city of Honolulu at the time very racist towards black people.

Anyone who believes that Obama is as he has reported himself to be is a clueless idiot unworthy of our time. They either refuse to see the facts intentionally deluding themselves or they are just too stupid to put one and one together and get two.

That executive order concerns official presidential papers in the National Archives. It's said to be similar to the executive orders other presients have issued.
Since whatever personal documents Obama has aren't likely to be in the National Archives, the executive order is irrelevant. To say otherwise would be like saying that the policies your company has concerning company records governs who can see your birth certificate or driving records.
What we do know is what does NOT exist. There is no record in any of the local hospitals that would correspond to or validate any state birth records on file. Hospitals keep excellent records for this.
Hospitals don't release their records to third parties without permission. It very well may be that Obama birth records don't exist at those hospitals, but to say that we know that for certain would be questionable -- if not flat-out wrong.

Even granting it was an unusual circumstance, does that mean they’d have to remember it decades later? or associate it with the guy they see on their tv screens (hey, I know that mutt!)
My wife worked in Hospital Medical Records for over 30 years and she will tell that even today, a black baby born to a white mother would be a topic of conversation at the hospital. She still remembers the controversy when this happened in Alabama in 1974.
And in 1961??
And when according to an earlier post, there were very few non-military blacks in Hawaii?

I’m with ya. In this euphemism happy country no one is ever (or rarely, anyway) “thrown out of office”, even if effectively he is thrown out of office. They always “resign”, to “spend more time with the family”. CEOs and politicians. So, to a humorless and clueless pedant, Nixon “resigned”, when in fact, right or wrong, justifiably or not, he was hounded out of office.

Why it's so peculiar [not] that Obama has had scores of court cases to show where he was born and that he can make the case that he really is a natural born citizen. The clown could have saved a military man from going to jail but Obama chose not to. Some pResident you are defending there.

How is your rant pertinent to the topic of this thread? It's like nullifying someone's point because they typed "their" instead of "there". Or shouting, "so's your mother" when someone makes a remark you can't rebut. I repeat, Nixon would not have resigned if not cornered. Others can judge your foolishness for denying that assertion. It remains that Nixon left office for LESSER reasons, which was the initial comment that set off your ridiculous attempt at deflection.

I take it you’ve never lived in Hawaii. Many educated people as well as not so educated people speak pidgin. Hawaiian English is not like mainland English.
I'm no expert on the make-up of the Senate at the time, but I don't recall many suggesting that Nixon could beat the rap. I was expecting that he would be convicted in the Senate and removed from office. I was among those who was outraged that Ford "pardoned" Nixon without detailing what crimes were being pardoned.

Good piece, but, aside from the supposed prevalence of anti-black racism on Hawaii c. 1961, the author doesn’t give us more info than those of us following this matter diligently didn’t already know.
The big news here is that this post was on CBS’ web site, apparently for some time.
The grammar and sentence structure could stand some improvement. I say that not to be petty or snobby, but because those on our side have an obligation to speak and write impeccably in order to maximize our clout in this debate.
Yes, but those following diligently here are the very small exception -— I too put thought that being on the CBS site was the new and important part, and so put it up in the title.
I also thought the hospital comments interesting, and the locale comments interesting, perhaps providing some basis for further research.
The story that’s been presented is that she thought she wanted to be BHO’s wife in Kenya for the rest of her life. Went there to meet the family, stayed for a while and saw how they treat women and decided it wasn’t for her. Wanted to fly back to America but couldn’t until after the baby was born. When she could fly she flew back to Washington to take classes as she had wanted to do all along.
There are lots of stories that are around, and we have no way of knowing whether Stanley Ann Dunham even had a child, or that the child she had was this one - much less the father, the birthplace, etc. What we can find is that the stories we’ve been given by Obama/Ayers don’t match up to any of the independent official sources we can find.
To check out the story of where SAD was in August of 1961 (which may or may not have been when she had a child, if ever) we would have to see her travel records including her passport. If she didn’t have a passport in 1961 the Passport Office could easily rebuke the claims that SAD gave birth outside the US by simply showing that she had no passport. But alas! The Passport Office has kept at least one person on hold for over a year because they don’t want to look in an alphabetized file of microfilmed index cards and see what passports SAD has had, including any she might have had in 1961.
And it appears very probable that Alex Galovich of the Passport Office, as well as the attorney representing the Passport Office, have committed fraud on the court by presenting as authentic a forged “cable” claiming that retention schedules were changed and millions of passport applications destroyed without leaving any of the required paper trail - all in order to not have to show the passport records from before 1967, which are known to exist because the 1967 record we have is an amendment to the passport issued in 1965.
In the passport records they’ve released there are 2 different marriages dates and locations listed for Ann and Lolo’s wedding, and the names of both Ann and Obama Jr don’t seem to match up.
So no matter how you slice it, the official records are at best jumbled up and conflict with the narrative Obama has given of his origins and life.
And that is precisely why I say there should be an investigation. Without a legal investigation, with access to all the records so the credibility of the sources and genuineness of the documents can be discovered, we have no way of knowing what is true about this guy.
Abercrombie is stepping in deep doo-doo by claiming he saw Ann and Barack with the baby at social events in Hawaii. That statement is going to come around and bite him in the butt someday, when the truth gets out. Given the timeline for Ann’s classes in Seattle, he’s walking a thin, thin line.
