Gregory: "Do you think sarah palin, if she were the nominee, could carry a state like Pennsylvania?"

Toomey : I think it is possible. We went into this election cycle with 1.2 million voter registration deficit and with a Republican brand that was in a bad way and i still won this election

I am keeping an eye on the Constitution Party.

Sarah or no, could it be the Bull Moose Party of this century?

I would like to see what my fellow FReepers think...

Let the RINOs form their own party, like that witch Murkey.

If the GOP is not ready or willing to change this country back to the right then there is no point in keeping them in office, even if that means running a third party candidate.

Sarah Palin owns the GOP now.

The RINOs just haven't figured it out yet.

They don't realize that THEY'RE the ones who need to form a third party.

When Reagan won the GOP nomination, RINO John B. Anderson went third party, earning RINO votes and some Dems who could vote for neither Carter nor Reagan. Palin stated it right, stay in the Republican Party. We are the majority of the party. Make the RINOs show their allegiances.

I think I can remember Toomey being for the DADT repeal.

What does he know?

Why wait?

I mean, really. It’s clear the GOP will not go willingly.

See: Karl Rove. Charles Krauthammer. Scott Brown. Murkowski. McCain... Ad nauseum.

Enough.

Just as Fox News was the answer to liberal media bias.

So also, a third party is the answer to the RINO blue bloods.

Toomey also say Sarah Palin could carry Pennsylvania as the nominee....

Good answer. That's the answer ALL Republicans should give.

Yeah, like that worked for Ross Perot. A third party will give the election all wrapped up in a pretty bow to the RATs.

Toomey ought to worry about his own self. Alot of us in PA held our noses & voted for him because our other choice was the naked communist Joe Sestak.

This guy is a RINO in elephant’s clothing. As a congressman he voted for the approval of RU-486, he’s verbalized support for Sonya Sotomaor, and most recently was supportive of the repeal of DADT. He wouldn’t know the tea party if it bit him in the butt.

Great. Just wonderful.

The GOP wants our votes, but doesn’t want to give us a say.

And if we go third party, its Obama in 2012.

Sarah HAS to run as the Republican Nominee to win in November. It’s just that simple, and we have the history of Ross Perot as proof.

The media will pull out all of the stops to make her look as bad as possible, and to make Obama look like a saint, in spite of everything that has happened.

The ONLY way she wins is if EVEY person who ever loved this country gets off their asses, and organizes, organizes, and organizes some more. Like our forefathers, it’s going to take treasure, more treasure, sweat, long hours, and perhaps even some blood, to take this country back.

(NOTE TO NSA/Obama DOJ: “Blood” means one’s
own blood defending yourself from the Democrat thugs that will come out in force, inciting violence, as they have done so many times, recently)

((Sad that you have to note that for Big Sister, isn’t it?))

The time for whining is over. Our Civil War has begun TODAY, and we win it at the ballot box.

I don’t care necessarily who the nominee is, but he or she must be a fighter and a constitutionalist. Anyone else will leave Obama’s changes largely in place. And that is the kind of one-way ratchet we can’t accept. We’ve been accepting the one-way ratchet for decades and look where it has got us.

There is a short list of constitutionalists to choose from. Anyone else will break this party and you’ll see a third party with GOP in last place.

Whoever we nominate, whoever wins, we will not have the luxury of simply electing someone and then trusting them to do right. They are all under tremendous pressures from all sides, they are at the eye of a hurricane when they are in DC and its easy for them to be drawn down the same road everyone else winds up going down. We have to keep up the pressure, to apply a pressure that counters the other pressures they will be under, to give them the political cover they will need to do the right thing when the winds are all blowing against it.

And we have to keep chipping away, driving out the faux-Repubs even at the risk of an occasional loss. Winning a seat but leaving the GOP under the control of the big-government elite will ultimately lead us right down the road the socialists are taking us, just at three-quarter speed. That will force the third-party. Not driving out the RINOs will break this party.

OK, if the tea party insists that the nominee has to be acceptable or else they’ll form a 3rd party, and if the moderate republicans insist that the nominee has to be acceptable to them or else they’ll form a 3rd party, what are the chances that the democrats win the Presidency?

The relationship between the establishment GOP and the TEA party is like watching a wedding planner trying to organize seating at the reception.

The GOP is clearly Hugh Hefner - but it seems the wedding planner cannot determine whether the TEA party is an ex-wife, a biological child or the new bride;)

The marriage is not going to be pretty!
