Toomey: "The Tea Party movement is a powerful source of energy and if the Republicans generally, and the Republican nominee in particular, is not acceptable to that wing of the electorate, I would be worried about a third- party movement that could undermine the center right coalition" ......Toomey also say Sarah Palin could carry Pennsylvania as the nominee....(Video)

RINOS will never willingly give up their power. We must take it from them.
They only want what is good for them, not the country. They are worse than the Left because at least the left has ideas, RINO only want power and if that means screwing over the Conservatives then they will do it while whistling show tunes.

I recall a certain third party candidate saying something about a “giant sucking sound”.

In retrospect, he was right.

I am keeping an eye on the Constitution Party.

Several years ago, I looked into them and their platforms.

Domestically, they advocate good, basic Constitutional values and policies.

Internationally, they are weak isolationists. That is impractical in the modern world, considering that the USA is a superpower. You don't just pull the plug on that.

Toomey also say Sarah Palin could carry Pennsylvania as the nominee....

Good answer. That's the answer ALL Republicans should give.

Yeah, like that worked for Ross Perot. A third party will give the election all wrapped up in a pretty bow to the RATs.

Toomey ought to worry about his own self. Alot of us in PA held our noses & voted for him because our other choice was the naked communist Joe Sestak.

This guy is a RINO in elephant’s clothing. As a congressman he voted for the approval of RU-486, he’s verbalized support for Sonya Sotomaor, and most recently was supportive of the repeal of DADT. He wouldn’t know the tea party if it bit him in the butt.

“Third Party = Dem win”

I’m with you. The answer does not lie with forming a third party, at least not yet. I believe the answer if to reform the GOP from within.

As long as there are people like Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer standing ready to pounce and attack any outsiders there will be no taking over the GOP.

Forget them.

"And yes, he did one single thing right: select Palin as his running mate. Then: proceeded to interfere with her, at every turn."

They (McCain RINO backstabbing/snob staffers)picked her because they believed she could be humiliated..effectively discouraging all females of the conservative persuasion.

The plan backfired in their face, badly. It was a socialist snobs epic fail of monumental proportions.

If the GOP is not ready or willing to change this country back to the right

FoxNews Sunday was interesting. Initially, Wallace interviewed two GOP establishment. Then, he interviewed two of the new GOP tea party electees.

There was quite a contrast. The establishment were hemhawing around any signficant changes. The n00bies were advocating definitive changes and positions.

The test will come in the GOP side of the House during the next few months. It will be a test to see which faction, the tea party n00bies or the establishment, can maneuver well enough to get control.

If the Establishment win, it will be more of the same.

If the N00bies win, we might see very significant and substantial changes.

McCain was the single crappiest candidate the GOP could have run. Period. And yes, he did one single thing right: select Palin as his running mate. Then: proceeded to interfere with her, at every turn.

It was all part of the plan. The fix was in long before Palin. The only thing that didn't go as planned was how they underestimated that petite unknown gal.

If the republicrats fail... there will be no 3rd party... the republicans will go the way of the whigs and the Tea Party will become one of two.

Great. Just wonderful.

The GOP wants our votes, but doesn’t want to give us a say.

And if we go third party, its Obama in 2012.

Sarah HAS to run as the Republican Nominee to win in November. It’s just that simple, and we have the history of Ross Perot as proof.

The media will pull out all of the stops to make her look as bad as possible, and to make Obama look like a saint, in spite of everything that has happened.

The ONLY way she wins is if EVEY person who ever loved this country gets off their asses, and organizes, organizes, and organizes some more. Like our forefathers, it’s going to take treasure, more treasure, sweat, long hours, and perhaps even some blood, to take this country back.

(NOTE TO NSA/Obama DOJ: “Blood” means one’s
own blood defending yourself from the Democrat thugs that will come out in force, inciting violence, as they have done so many times, recently)

((Sad that you have to note that for Big Sister, isn’t it?))

The time for whining is over. Our Civil War has begun TODAY, and we win it at the ballot box.

Then he, and his campaign RINO’s tried to blame HER for him losing - even when it was plain as the nose on your face that she had energized his unexciting campaign. - Then when he actually endorsed Obama after a woman (probably a Democrat plant) asked him point blank if Obama would make a good President and he said yeah, sure. (He’s since recanted, but much too late.)

The Republican party has already been taken over. The potential candidates following the traditional route to nomination for President have failed ~ to wit, Romney doesn’t have a chance. He used to, but now he’s FAIL.

Ayup. He picked a great VP, but he himself was a crappy candidate. You know, even a blind squirrel will find an acorn every now and then.

The only other times I’ve agreed with him, I didn’t come to trust him because I knew he was pandering for votes. I don’t cotton to pandering to me much more than pandering to the other guy.

I don’t care necessarily who the nominee is, but he or she must be a fighter and a constitutionalist. Anyone else will leave Obama’s changes largely in place. And that is the kind of one-way ratchet we can’t accept. We’ve been accepting the one-way ratchet for decades and look where it has got us.

There is a short list of constitutionalists to choose from. Anyone else will break this party and you’ll see a third party with GOP in last place.

Whoever we nominate, whoever wins, we will not have the luxury of simply electing someone and then trusting them to do right. They are all under tremendous pressures from all sides, they are at the eye of a hurricane when they are in DC and its easy for them to be drawn down the same road everyone else winds up going down. We have to keep up the pressure, to apply a pressure that counters the other pressures they will be under, to give them the political cover they will need to do the right thing when the winds are all blowing against it.

And we have to keep chipping away, driving out the faux-Repubs even at the risk of an occasional loss. Winning a seat but leaving the GOP under the control of the big-government elite will ultimately lead us right down the road the socialists are taking us, just at three-quarter speed. That will force the third-party. Not driving out the RINOs will break this party.
