Toomey: "The Tea Party movement is a powerful source of energy and if the Republicans generally, and the Republican nominee in particular, is not acceptable to that wing of the electorate, I would be worried about a third- party movement that could undermine the center right coalition" ......Toomey also say Sarah Palin could carry Pennsylvania as the nominee....(Video)

Gregory: "Do you think sarah palin, if she were the nominee, could carry a state like Pennsylvania?"

Toomey : I think it is possible. We went into this election cycle with 1.2 million voter registration deficit and with a Republican brand that was in a bad way and i still won this election

I would like to see what my fellow FReepers think...

If the GOP is not ready or willing to change this country back to the right then there is no point in keeping them in office, even if that means running a third party candidate.

Sarah Palin owns the GOP now.

The RINOs just haven't figured it out yet.

They don't realize that THEY'RE the ones who need to form a third party.

When Reagan won the GOP nomination, RINO John B. Anderson went third party, earning RINO votes and some Dems who could vote for neither Carter nor Reagan. Palin stated it right, stay in the Republican Party. We are the majority of the party. Make the RINOs show their allegiances.

Let the RINOs form their own party,

Absolutely.

Why would TEA Party followers have to be the one to leave the Republicans? If the RINOs and the PRICs want to kiss democrat butt, they should be kicked out and left to their own kind.

.

RINO’s being selected for us and then elected = Dem/marxist win.

If it is time to replace the Republican party (dem-lite party), then the time to start is now. If the country is going to suffer, make sure that dems are in charge when the suffering is at it's worst to make sure everyone remembers exactly who ran this country into the ground. Having RINO’s confusing the situation will not help in the long run if we want to remove the marxists from power once and for all, IMO.

Why wait?

I mean, really. It’s clear the GOP will not go willingly.

See: Karl Rove. Charles Krauthammer. Scott Brown. Murkowski. McCain... Ad nauseum.

Enough.

Just as Fox News was the answer to liberal media bias.

So also, a third party is the answer to the RINO blue bloods.

We don't need a third party, we are the Republican party. We just need to take control and point them in the right direction.
For too long the party insiders have been losing touch with their base. They've had their reminder, now we start replacing the bad ones.
I also think there are some Democrats that feel the same way.

True that.

McCain was the single crappiest candidate the GOP could have run.

Period.

And yes, he did one single thing right: select Palin as his running mate.

Then: proceeded to interfere with her, at every turn.

Sarah or no, could it be the Bull Moose Party of this century?

1912 election results

Democrat Woodrow Wilson - 42% THE WINNER
Republican William Taft - 23%
Bull Moose Teddy Roosevelt - 27%
Socialist Eugene Debbs - 6%

Do you meant that, like the Bull Moose Party, the Constitution Party could put a Democrat into the white house? Because that is the only thing the Bull Moose Party accomplished.
