You guys must all be new to this country. We’re talking about Republicans taking action here. Republicans. Republicans. Yeah, there’s a new sheriff in town on Capitol Hill but I don’t see them being able to do anything with the rest of the dems, rinos, and press against them. Perhaps you’re more optimistic than I am, but I’ve seen the pubbies back down time and again. I HOPE I’m wrong.

Someone posted on another thread today that Missouri has already passed such a law. Is this correct?

Sounds to me like the RinoCrat Oligarchy knows the financial musical chairs is about to come to an end.

Rather than deal with the coming Inquisition of their stewardship by a disgruntled We the People....they’ll pull the rip cord on His ‘BammyNess and see if they can scamper away in the uproar.

Pelosi should be in the deep Doo for signing off on this without checking it out to begin with.

As for our Speaker. I don’t know what to say. I really cannot imagine a Republican with the Intestinal fortitude to question Obama. They havent shown it so far and I doubt he will show it then.

IMO the real answer lies with the States ,who should require a Birth certificate and proof of eligibility before allowing a candidates name to be put on the ballot.

Even an incumbent Candidate.

It will only take a couple of key states,....

This would be the fastest way to get this case heard in the right place ... the SCOTUS. However, and it's a big butt, everything I have heard from the states, seems to hinge on "birth in Hawaii." That, IMHO, is beside the point.

EVERY Republican office holder I have communicated with on the subject has replied "......born in Hawaii," or some lame variation. I gave up after 20.

*************************************************************

I asked both my Senators (both Republican) what their definition of nbC was and if matched that of Vattel’s Law of Nations. Nothing else. I did not mention Obama or Hawaii or anything else. The goal was to put MY REPRESENTATIVE on the record.

Clearly, they understood why this question was being asked and I received back the kool-aid response like you did.

Anyone and everyone in Congress in 2008 was in on it. Everyone.

Unfortunately, the only states that would do so are ‘red’...try getting Ohio or Florida or one of the other turncoat states (electorally) to adopt this...

If Obama was shown to be ineligible to be POTUS it would not necessarily cause a civil war, but certainly a constitutional crisis. Every executive order would be invalid and all bills passed by Congress and signed or vetoed by the impostor would likely be challenged as illegal. There could also be criminal charges against Obama and those who helped in this conspiracy. The Democratic party would be thoroughly discredited as a willing partner to this fraud.

Obama was/is ineligible. Obama IS the President.

It is called Cognitive Dissonance. It is driving about 30% of the country crazy, including me. Nothing can be run that way and the country isn't actually being governed. Rather, the government is using power on a case-to-case basis. The Mombasa Moonbeam reads what is put before him on those rare occasions when he is in the capital, while his marxist cohorts and their bureaucracies handle the details.

It is IMHO... the major reason why the economy is "on hold." Me? I need somebody to blame. That someone is George Bush. One word uttered in 2007 and again in 2008 would have put a stop to this nonsense.

Republicans. Bah. Humbug. No Program. No Plan. No Leader. No Clue.

Since the presidency is an office that represents the country as a whole, then all states MUST be able to vote for him.

I don't think the Constitution requires that.

Many times some of these fringe candidates like Nader are on the ballot in some states and not others because they couldn't get enough signatures on the petitions in those states. In fact, in 1860, there were no Republicans on the ballots in the Deep South. It would have been suicide to attempt to get signatures there.

If obama’s campaign is VOIDED the legal way to remove him) biden WOULD NOT be the President. Voiding means that obama never ran for office,if he never ran for office neither did his running mate biden. The President and the vice-President campaigns are not separate now ,as they used to be. The legal President of the United States according to the Constitution and U.S. Laws is President John McCain.

Well, they might be challenged. But more than likely not overturned. SCOTUS picks, etc. would stay. He would just go away ... but only after impeachment and conviction. No court in the land has the power to remove a sitting President.

Under the 25d Amendment, Congress could declare him unable, incompetent, or unfit and sort of set him aside in favor of the Vice President. Never been done.

And of course, he could resign. So could have Joe Stalin.

Now it's a leap to civil war? Waaa Waaa... hey, the overly fretting grannies around here were only worried about a few dingbats breaking things in the streets over Obama.
