In the audio, Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, stated that there is only one person in America that is required to be born in America in accordance with our Constitution. Only one person and that’s the President of the United States.
Small correction there.
The relevant portion of Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution, which applies to the Office of the President, requires that:
No person except a natural born Citizen ... shall be eligible to the Office of President only office
However the 12th Amendment also requires that:
But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.
So there are only two offices in our government, the office of President and the office Vice President, which are required to be filled by persons who are “natural born citizens” of the United States, in accordance with our Constitution.

I mean after all, it would not be unreasonable to think that all the freedom loving conservatives at FreeRepublic, who respects the service that Lt. Col. Lakin has given to America, would be compassionate enough to want to stand up in support of Lt. Col. Lakin, who may be going to prison for nothing but “questioning with boldness” whether the current person serving in the office of President is eligible to hold that office in accordance with the Constitution, with the conviction that Lt. Col. Lakin obviously holds dearly for his own oath of enlistment, where in he solemnly swore (or affirmed) that he would support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that he would bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that he takes this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that he would well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which he was about to enter; So help him God.
How many soldiers in our Armed Forces have given their lives for that same conviction, which Lt. Col. Lakin is so heroically demonstrating?
That's not the point. The poster came into this forum demanding that the Tea Party leadership support LtCol Lakin, "or else".
Of course, the majority of members here support LtCol Lakin's effort to determine whether he is serving under a legitimate CIC, but only a lunatic would use threats and flagrant bullying to elicit support for that cause.

I didn't start anything. I wasn't griping and there was no insult. I didn't know where you got your quote. I assumed it was from a written statement and I didn't assume that you had transcribed it. I also said 'Please'. It is your pride which convicts you.

No way to win over ANYONE who is unfamiliar with Col. Lakin’s case.
He was rude and obnoxious. I quote:

Good grief. Start at the top of this thread. Read the title. It says, "Message to Tea Party Leaders: Defend Lt Col Lakin or Be Ready for Operation ZOT!"
If you speak English as your first language, you cannot translate that as anything but a threat.
Now, read through the posts, one by one, and note this guy's overall nasty, bullying demeanor.
I don't have to know who this guy is, or what he's ever done, to judge his behavior on this thread. He was insulting, boorish, and hostile to nearly everyone who challenged his threatening post in the slightest.
It's only coincidental that he strongly supports the mission of a man who many Freepers also support. That doesn't give the fool license to spit in our faces and call us names.
If you don't have the basic moral grounding to see that he got exactly what he deserved here, then you're headed for the same fate.
As I said before, this forum doesn't suffer nutbags of ANY stripe.

LtGen McInerney called Lakin a “...brilliant young officer and nicest person in the world...” I don’t think that equates to him being labeled a hero.
He continues to follow other orders. If he has such conviction he shouldn’t be following any orders as they are all “trickle down” from the top.
