Speedo-clad protestor navigates security with screw big sis on back.
...well played....(golf clap)

It's a pretty good statement, if you don't mind a lot of closeup views of the midriff of a guy in a Speedo.
"Big Sis Is Watching You".
Hilarious! I am flying next month myself. Giving me ideas LOL!
I didn’t look at the vid. Did the dude get groped?
BTTT!!!
No he didn't. He won a great point. Watch the video (see #5 above if you don't like patronizing blog pimps).
I’m disappointed. I was expecting to see a guy in a real Speedo. This was way too conservative. Great idea though. I’ve already warned my son and grandson that I’m wearing my workout shorts and sports bra under my clothes and peeling down if need be next time we fly. Time the old folks started standing up.
I salute this guy.
The Daily Caller is a blog?
Think string bikini and large sunglasses. You may be a bit chilly but as long as you don't get groped, nor scanned, I think it's be worth it.
There’s hope for America.
This young man is AWESOME.
Well Done!!!
It's a personal political journal and news "aggregator" which collects news from elsewhere and re-posts it, adds a small amount of original commentary, and exists primarily to give one or two people a place to vent and sell ad space.
It's different from a "personal blog" in the sense that it's not just some pimply 18-yr-old high schooler writing their opinion of the latest movies and whether their last Saturday night date was a hottie.
But in the wide, wide world of the internet, it only differs in degree, not category. Understand, that's nothing against Tucker Carlson; just calling a spade a freakin' shovel. :)
The term "blog" covers a lot of ground. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog for a pretty good discussion of the range and breadth of blogs these days.
By way of comparison, FreeRepublic is a forum, not a blog, mostly because the site owners do not post the articles and commentary -- the vast majority of FR's content is contributed by registered users.
"Founded by Tucker Carlson, a 20-year veteran of print and broadcast media, and Neil Patel, former chief policy adviser to Vice President Cheney, The Daily Caller is a 24-hour news site providing original reporting from an experienced team of professional reporters, thought-provoking commentary and breaking news."
Well, that's only fair. It's his right to call his site anything he wishes (thank God it's a free country). It still looks like a news blog to me.
I agree that The DC has a lot of content. Understand, I don't consider "blog" a pejorative term, just descriptive.
As for what prompted my initial comment: Re-posting a YouTube video without so much as a paragraph of commentary? That's not even very good blogging -- the hypothetical high-schooler could do as much.
And if I saw that video on The DC, and wanted to bring the video to FreeRepublic, I would post the link to YouTube, not The DC. Posting the link to The DC is what's known as "blog pimping" -- drawing hits to a site which is only a vector to the real content; using someone else's video for the purpose of directing traffic to the blog. That's why it (correctly) is in FR's "Bloggers" area.
But Carlson and you can call The DC anything you wish, I have no problem with that.
I'll simply defer to Carlson's description of his site, and leave it at that.
Well-l-l-l,... that video clip had already gone "viral" and the hits on YouTube were screaming upward as word spread across the internet. It's been one of the "most-viewed" videos since right after it went up, with a number of viewings up around 300,000 in only a day. I sincerely doubt that count is due to The DC's posting of the video. So my conclusion would be that The DC used the video, not the other way around.
No big deal either way, I'm only commenting on the probabilities.
And in any case, I appreciate your posting the link on FR, since I myself might not have heard about it yesterday otherwise.
Happy Thankgsiving, and hope you enjoy your day.
Also, the video appears to be "activism" since it was a political protest against the TSA.
Happy Thanksgiving.
