I’m not exactly outraged Bristol Palin is in the finals of “Dancing with the Stars.” I’m not like the guy who shot out his TV when Tuesday’s votes were revealed.
Bristol has shown poise and a willingness to learn.
But she’s shown something else in her TV reality show run. She’s shown her mother’s surprising strength.
The reason she’s consistently at the bottom of the judge’s rankings and yet wins another chance every week? Her mom is Sarah Palin.
After this month’s elections, we officially live in the bluest blue-blue state on the face of the earth, so it takes a lot of folks by surprise the pull Palin has.
The truth is, for whatever reason, Sarah Palin has captured America’s heart. No matter what.
And her daughter is feeling the love.
If I were a betting woman, I’d bet Brandy and Maks aren’t the last of the shockers will see.
Though it might make me feel like the man in Wisconsin, I wouldn’t be surprised if Bristol takes home the trophy next week.
It's refreshing to see a lib admit that. Unfortunately, she still has yet to grasp the reasons that Sarah Palin appeals to ordinary Americans.
Just speaking for myself, but if I were still on the liberal plantation, I would probably have concluded by now, that the left is in the minority, and that America really is a center-right country.

I’m sorry but you actually believe crap written in the National Enquirer..LOL you can’t be serious right..this is the same Enquirer that said that Sarah gave Todd 20 million bucks to stay married to her..Sarah saw the paper, called Todd and told him about it in which Todd said “20 million, where’s my check” LOL its laughable this nonsense that is written in these garbage papers. I hope you didn’t waste 1.50 or however much it costs on that crap

In other words it is a bunch of B.S. from over a year ago that has yet to materialize as a credible approximation of the truth, and over a year later, makes Star look absolutely ridiculous.
Sarah Palin did not throw her wedding ring anywhere, and there are no plans in evidence for her and Todd to get divorced.

Hey I didn’t condemn the Palins I like them. I just said they have a problem with that girl.
I’m sorry about the trouble with your son. When they are on drugs they will steal from anyone. He needs rehab big time but whether you or anyone else can make him get it is a good question.

Well it is a bit small and blurry, but I have better than 20/20 vision. So not sure if I was seeing something others could not.
I once printed out all my contact information on a business card for my wallet in a font so small that nobody else could read it.
Anyway the point is not that this is IN the Star, but that it WAS in the Star, and over a year later looks like absolute garbage as far as accuracy of prediction.
My ex-wife is a “devout” Christian, choir director, Christian Preschool director and Sunday School teacher. If she can screw up that much, who’s safe?

No one is safe from a teenage kid screwing up. I know that. We all screw up, even as adults. My one possible critique of the Palins is IF they didn’t discipline Willow for cursing on the Internet, I think they should.
Anyone that believes we control young people when they are out with friends are usually not the parents of a 16 year old. Boy or girl. We can teach, we can pray, but we can not protect our children from society completely.
All agreed. Obviously however, there are degrees of strictness and different techniques of parenting. I don’t have the answer to all that. I’ll say it again, the one thing I think the Palins shoukld do is make Willow apologize for repeatedly cursing on the Net. I would take her computer away for a month, and I have done it.
Also if my 16 year old daughter might be getting pregnant, there have to be some changes. I don’t think conservatives accept the liberal argument that “they’re all going to have sex anyway”.

It’s all good. Unfortunately with the Enquirer, some people buy that nonsense. Sometimes they post stories that might be believable. Such as the story about Michael Douglas being very ill, cancer is a horrible disease, it takes it’s toll, but nonsense about the Palin’s, heard it all before, getting divorced, sleeping in separate beds, it’s just utter craziness.
