Some children are more head strong than others. We can not chain them to a bed to keep them from going out and staying out to late. etc. Some do no care what the loss of privileges are.

Anyone that believes we control young people when they are out with friends are usually not the parents of a 16 year old. Boy or girl. We can teach, we can pray, but we can not protect our children from society completely.

All agreed. Obviously however, there are degrees of strictness and different techniques of parenting. I don’t have the answer to all that. I’ll say it again, the one thing I think the Palins shoukld do is make Willow apologize for repeatedly cursing on the Net. I would take her computer away for a month, and I have done it.

Also if my 16 year old daughter might be getting pregnant, there have to be some changes. I don’t think conservatives accept the liberal argument that “they’re all going to have sex anyway”.
