As much as the Dems criticized Bush, I’m not sold on the idea they hated him as much as they intimated. Look at the large issues. Obama didn’t pull out of Iraq or Afghanistan. He didn’t close Gitmo.
Bush didn’t interfere with Barney Frank and company’s mortgage scams. He allowed them to riddle our economy at will. He allowed them to practically double our debt in eight years.
On top of that he have them Medicare Part D. He gave them no child left behind and came very close to gifting the Dems with tens of millions of new voters for their base.
Bush was undeniably better for the Dems than Obama has been.
Can you imagine the gigging they would have gotten from McCain?
I shudder to think of it.
Bingo bump!
Not sure I would call her a ‘liberal’..she just isn’t conservative on many key social issues. There are actually alot of republicans and independents that feel the same way.I don’t agree with them, but I still appreciate their voting for conservatives over the progressives most of the time. I am praying that they vote for fiscal sanity and constitutional principles this coming tuesday!
Strategy: Sell books; make money; love family
Two fold initial tactics:
1. Support your daughter’s career.
2. Get exposure in the enemy camp
Nothing wrong with that based on strategy.
His presidency was marred by some major mis-steps (particularly immigration and economy), but contrary to some opinions here, he was better than any DemCrap prez in at least the last 60 years. And his honesty, integrity, and character are above reproach, although his consistent turn the other cheek approach was questionable.
Obama, bad as he is, is still a work in progress. We can repeal his programs, recover and repay our debts. We can't undo anything Roosevelt did. Only time will tell if Obama is the most damaging ever.
