Allow for the taking of foreign armed drug cartel agents per season along with a nice bounty and this problem would go away.
Maybe they’ll need to go hunting with semi-automatics after all.
Steven Colbert should join the pot growers for a day so he can testify to Congress about their working conditions. I’m sure it’s just as dreary as the migrant farm worker gig, but with the possibility of getting shot.
LOL!
Well, I think for everyone’s safety they should just post signs warning deer hunters not to hunt there. Hey, it worked down at the Arizona border, right? /s
Now, maybe the left can understand why hunters do need AK-47’s. One group hunts for dinner and the other group hunts for dopes.
$1000 for each drug grower killed.
Do you need a license and tags for vermin in Oregon? Oregon is pretty liberal. Here in Idaho we don’t need a tag or have a limit on this type of vermin.
He couldn’t tote his box of Depends that far into the woods.
My high powered rifle would level the playing field.
I wonder if deer browse on marijuana?
What huntin’ folks in Iowa need to be alert for is meth lab left-overs improperly disposed of, or clandestine labs themselves. Nasty crap to deal with.
+$500 per page of their criminal record. “Look, I got a 5-pager!”
Idaho sounds like a great place to live. How have you weathered immigration?
I’ve heard from a law enforcement person here in Arizona, that this is true of the White Mountains. It’s scary that a family out camping or hunting could wind up dead just because they stumbled into the wrong place at the wrong time.
Growers are known to leave booby-traps on trails near their crop. Deputies were investigating one grow they found and there was a thin fishing line across a path. They looked at where it was coming from and there in a PVC tube was a grenade with the pin out. Trip on the line, it pulls the grenade out of the tube... and BOOM.
There are also rumors on hunting forums that in some counties deputies are on the take from the growers. The growers can set traps with impunity.
It’s a serious problem.
Some of these guys are NOT hunting for deer, but “hunting” for pot patches to steal.
Regular occurrence in Nor Cal. Around this time people come wandering onto your property with guns saying they are “hunting”. Hunting for irrigation lines mostly!
