I cant stand it...its just too good to pass up .normally I write only one column a week but this week is special Ill just keep on going.
Yesterday was the US Senate vote on S-3454, which was the controversial Military Appropriations bill which include the Dont Ask, Dont Tell rescission amendment. The bill was defeated when 43 Senators voted against it.
So, whats so special about this?

there is not one word...nay, not one that mentions Harry Reids vote. In fact the title of the article lays the entire blame on the Republican party

It isn't unusual for the leader to vote so as to ask for a re-vote later.
He will ask for a re-vote if he gets enough votes to win.
