On Friday, a letter written by Prince William County Police Chief Charlie Deane to Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security John Morton, was released to the public. Chief Deane asked the DHS to stop issuing employment authorization cards to illegal aliens who have deportation proceedings pending against them. In the letter, Chief Deane detailed a recent DUI crash in his county which killed Benedictine nun Sister Denise Mosier. The fatal accident was caused by Carlos Martinelly Montano, 23, an illegal alien from Bolivia who was handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement after a previous arrest, but was freed while awaiting a deportation hearing.
Montano received a U.S. Employment Authorization Card on January 14, 2009, after his second DUI arrest, which he then used to obtain a Virginia driver's license. He was granted the card though he was slated for deportation.
Deane wrote: I have been in contact with Virginia authorities regarding the concern that Virginia DMV documents issued based on EACs under these circumstances is very misleading. This can result in criminal aliens being inappropriately released when being processed by law enforcement authorities."
Deane continued: I ask that this glaring gap in DHS policy be ended. DHS has yet to respond to the request....

Sheriffs and Police Chiefs around the country are starting to rise up to Obama’s BS.
He better watch it or else he will receive the Sheriff Joe treatment.
...As are the majority of law abiding citizens of the USA. Thwarting the Rule of Law in favor of law-breakers appears to be (by their actions) the official administration policy.
The keyword is indeed sheriffs, they have an unusual amount of law enforcement capability.
So police chiefs actually want the Hussein regime to DEPORT all of those prospective democrat voters!!!??? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. What’s a few thousand murders, rapes, robberies, muggings compared to 30 million new democrats!!!
open borders ping
VA has had such a problem with enabling laws..

PHOENIX Nearly a dozen states have filed a legal brief in support of Arizonas controversial immigration law.
Afriend of the court brief filed with the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday argues that a federal judge was wrong to block implementation of key provisions of the law.
The brief submitted by Michigan Attorney General Michael Cox argues that the judge used the wrong legal standard to rule on the U.S. Justice Departments request for a preliminary injunction.
It also says the judge erred in ruling that the law interferes with the executive branchs immigration enforcement priorities.
Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Virginia joined in the filing.

Truth is stranger than fiction.
No author could make up stuff like this.
Still, Virginia gave the guy a Drivers license using a U.S. Employment Authorization Card after the guy had two DUI’s. Maybe they need to check their own records a bit better too.
ya fed say “here is your card amigo..molest this nation”
My guess is that when he got his drivers license with his green card..he also registered to vote.
The drivers license registers them to vote and the voter registration then triggers jury duty. All the rights of a citizen for free.

This Tuesday, she will inaugurate a White House series showcasing American dance.
Wars get started over such things.
This is so typical of the Obama regime anyway. So much is who you know, who you ----, how much you pay, where you live.
It will be a great relief to have them relocated to the federal prison system.
This is an about-face for this Chief since he generally ignores anything dealing with illegal-aliens. Real pressure must be coming from somewhere or he wouldn’t do this, in my opinion.
The death of the nun by the drunken illegal punk is the impetus, I’m sure. But even with that I’m quite surprised he’s actually doing something.
The police chief should arrest the fed who issued the card for aiding and abetting criminal activity and prosecute in Virginia courts. The fed should be jailed during the appeal process.
Until states go after feds agressively, there is no end to the tyranny
return
I bet your are right about all the rights of a citizen...how to stop it is the problem..kick the illegals who got green cards out...
