They are used to answering a question in this manner and have no clue whatsoever that their is actually a way to answer the question asked and not slip slide past the answer.
They will never see how stupid they appear because they are to busy trying to hide the obvious by trying to “two step” the answer.

Absolutely right! But think about that, what other administration would have a joke of a Press Secretary like Gibbs and he could keep the position for almost 2 years?
His arrogance and smugness are likely part of a plan in my opinion. I think they are intentionally poking at us trying to incite a reaction. Becoming the only thing that makes sense to me...

Well, Gibbs COULDN’T say that Bush would be credited, because Skippy had no intention of doing so. So Gibbs tried every trick in the book to derail or deflect the question.
But seriously. Does anyone really expect Skippy to ever say “Gee. I guess I was wrong.”? Especially concerning a policy issue with Bush?

I went and took another look at the video. Gretchen is pi$$ed off from the start (as I would have been talking to that POS)...look at her left brow, it is down. She was “in scorn” from the beginning....she knew from the start this would not go well.
Also, look at her breathing, her entire body moves more when the idiot pisses her off. The loud mouth O’Reilly’s “body language expert” would have a field day with this video.
I would love to see the WH press’s body language when he speaks w/ them.
