I think you might have to go back in a time machine to 1973 to the ‘Nam to the PX in Danang or Tan Son Nhat to buy that stuff. Besides, it’s off the point of this article, which is Glenn Beck. Nice try, though. ;-)

But not the leftists: They are exactly the same, everywhere!

That's why it's easier and more accurate to call them marxists. They are all following one form of marxism or another - socialism, communism, black liberation theology, "far left" American liberal, etc... all based on Karl Marx's philosophies.

This was unthinkeable even 10 years ago.

I was approached about a job at a university in Japan a few months ago. They've got this idiotic new program ("global 30" or something) whereby they import thousands of foreign faculty and students to their national universities. Can't imagine a more reckless and stupid thing for them to do. Globalism will ruin them.

Since someone made a big stink about that "Darkie" name back in the late 80's...it has been renamed....."DARLIE"

Same smiling image on the package though.

The Japanese think we’re racist? Ha!

———————————————>

Ditto!

I don’t think Japan has a word for “diversity” in their vocabulary.

They have accomplished the elimination of racism in Japan by not having any other race allowed in their Country!

“That’s why it’s easier and more accurate to call them marxists.”

Marxists seek state ownership, nationalization of industry, etc. Marxists are of course socialist. Facists have state control, w/o the state ownership. The military/industrial complex partners with the state. Facism would more correctly describe Japan’s socialism...even more now than during WWII. Their facism then was not nearly so socialist as it is today. Both Marxism and Facism require authoritarian dictatorships to exist and ‘flourish’. The leftist/Demonrat/Obamination brand of socialism here so far is more Facist than Marxist. Both Marxism and Facism are great authoritarian/socialist Evils that must be stamped out.

) But the one thing that really stood out is this: the crowd was overwhelmingly White.
——————————————————>

We statistically, the population of the USA isn’t 100% white.

From my experience in Japan, anyone not “Black” is considered white, even Asians.

Go to Japan and the only blacks you will see are tourists from the USA.

Just my observation.

Lol.

The Japanese calling US racist.

Sorry, I love the culture, speak and read the language, and know the people, but it’s a little too much.

Both Marxism and Facism are great authoritarian/socialist Evils that must be stamped out.

I agree fully that, so far, zer0 is opting to control the economy without outright owning the means of production. That is a more fascistic approach. But there are exceptions and both pure marxism and fascism use similar techniques to similar ends.

We probably agree fully, also, that a Constitutional Republic with capitalistic economy is the best final outcome for the USA.

Only 1.8% in Japan are foreigners. Calling America “racist” is still a popular sport abroad, but you only have to compare immigration policies and racial diversity in Japan, Europe and USA.

I think they just fed their impression off of the major US liberal MSM and followed their lead, and being liberal themselves (at that Japanese network at least) they just passed on the falsehood. How convenient. Basically the conclusions to the TBS story were already pre-made, they just went out and filmed it and edited it and broadcast their spin, nothing different that what American TV audiences get all the time.

Sounds like they simply regurgitated parts of an AP story in Japanese: "WASHINGTON – Conservative commentator Glenn Beck and tea party champion Sarah Palin appealed Saturday to a vast, predominantly white crowd on the National Mall to help restore traditional American values and honor Martin Luther King's message. Civil rights leaders who accused the group of hijacking King's legacy held their own rally and march."

Don’t tell that to my mom. Someone close to her was killed in the war and to this day she still calls them “dirty japs”.

A “...predominantly white crowd...”. Kinda like the entire population of the United States, then.

It is interesting to me, purely as a psychological excercise, that so many people equate equality with equal numbers.

you might kindly break to her the news, and bring her into the 21st century, by telling her that probably 95% of those “dirty japs” who did those horrendous things, are now DEAD
