Paul Hsieh wrote an excellent article about America's weakness in regards to the war against terrorists. However, he claimed that the mosque is distracting us from the real issue of Iran's nuclear weapons program. I respectfully disagree. The real issue is that we are fighting a war with Islam. The mosque, rather than distracting America, has brought her full attention to it.
The mosque has refocused us on the fact that we were brutally attacked on 9/11, and Americans are starting to talk about it again. Videos about 9/11 are circulating the internet and discourse is taking place about who was responsible. People are learning about Islam and decisions are being made about who is to blame.
This is has been a difficult road, because Americans are benevolent and naïve concerning Islam. They are used to freedom of religion and they find it hard to condemn one. And that is precisely the problem, Americans see Islam as only a religion. It is not just a religion, it is also a sophisticated, detailed political ideology with the expressed goal of taking over the entire world by any means at its disposal, even if it includes lying and killing. Americans need to think of it as a social/political ideology, but they are so used to separating religion from politics (which was a first at the time of our country's founding) that they keep giving Islam the benefit of the doubt.
Frank Langan, site superintendent from Queens working at ground zero, says he is on the fence on the matter. When construction workers started to protest working on the mosque, he made a statement that is typical of people who are undecided about this issue, "It's a tough debate. I sympathize with workers' position, but at the same time, you can't single out all Muslims because of a small number of terrorists." That would be like saying, you can't single out all Communists because of a small number of Communists. They are all Communists if they subscribe to the Communist ideology, and just like Communism has an ideology, so does Islam. Any Muslim who is truly innocent, must renounce Islam like other courageous Muslims such as Ayaan Hirsi Ali or Wafa Sultan. Not to do so, means that he still considers us as the enemy and supports the downfall of the United States.
Separation of church and state is something we take for granted. Islam does not separate the two. And Islam is the new Communism.
In order to win any war, one must know who the enemy is and have the courage to do what is necessary. As Paul Hsieh said in his article it is important to commit to victory and win the war. But that won't happen until our enemy is clearly defined in the American mind.
“Islam is the New Communism”
Therefore, our communist nation will soon be an Islamic communist nation.
We haven’t gotten rid of communism, so if the Muslims were smart they would just do what they are doing in Europe - have babies and let the west kill themselves through planned parenthood.
I went to American Thinker and read Islam is the new Communism. I think the article was amazing, it laid out a very simple explanation as to why most people here in the USA have such a difficult time condemning islam (which by the way has frustrated me for quite some time).
The article is actually a response to another American Thinker article by Paul Hsieh. I read that article and did was not impressed by his opinions however I did find something of value, Mr Hsieh placed a hyperlink to a presentation given to a Ayn Rand Institute conference back in October 2006.
The author and presenter of the information is Dr. John David Lewis. His material is titled “No Substitute for Victory’: The Defeat of Islamic Totalitarianism” and it is brilliant. I searched for the information on FR and it was posted some time ago however I wanted to reintroduce it with a hyperlink to your post.

Again thanks for the great post!
Nothing good will ever come from a collective denying rights that individuals should enjoy. Nothing good will come from a collective doing things an individual would typically avoid. The power to do these things comes from their collective strength, like strength in numbers. Apart from their 'possee' they might seem likeable, but look out when they hook-up.
To me, it seems like a Hive mentality where you see a single bee buzzing around and it's no problem; get near it's nest and that same bee will attack you along with about a hundred others.
Using the 1st ammendment to legitimize a Mosque (hive) in proximity to Ground Zero is not what our founders had in mind. In fact, were they here today they'd probably wonder why a hundred Mosques were already in New York City, and ask, "Are you nuts?" Given that their charter demands of them to convert or kill non-believers, I'd have to say they're right. We are nuts.
The solution would be for Americans to 'hive-up' but that may not be easy as we put individual rights and liberty on a level other societies don't. But it could happen eventually and the results wouldn't bode well for those attacking us. These people don't know the hell America could unleash on them when it does. Oh well, ain't my job to warn them.
No, Islam is worse! With Communists, you had some notion that you were dealing with rational human beings. There is NOTHING rational about Islam, in fact the whole cult eschews reason.
“It is inevitable that Islam is completely destroyed by the West, probably by America.
At that point, they will be introduced to the awakened American dragon, like the Japanese were in WWII.”
Although I agree with [nearly] everything you wrote, I don’t yet know if Western victory is “inevitable”.
Indeed — viewing the decade-long response of The West to Islam’s growing putsch against us — and in light of one failure of The West to defend its culture after another — I think the most appropriate question to ask _today_ is, “who’s winning?”
At this point in time, of one thing I’m certain — it ISN’T The West.
Yes, that may change. If The West is to prevail, it MUST change.
But I believe what decides the outcome of this struggle will depend on just _when_ The West realizes what it’s up against, what must be done to win, and finally takes the brutal actions necessary to achieve that victory.
Somewhere in the future, unknown to us today, there exists “the tipping point” in the Great Struggle in which we are now engaged.
If we halt and reverse Islam’s advances BEFORE the tipping point is reached, we will win.
However, if we wait too long, Islam will gain _just enough_ power and advantage so that its victory over The West will be assured and nothing that is done afterwards will change the outcome.
If The West musters the courage to engage Islam in existential combat before the tipping point is reached, we stand a chance to vanquish Islam, to destroy it once and for all time.
If we wait until that tipping point has been passed to come to our senses, it will already be too late.
Will The West realize this in time?
“If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival. There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
- Winston Churchill
Why are these people not ticketed for unlawful stopping of traffic?
I am wondering if the tipping point wasn't already reached and passed - while we slept.
Islam has infiltrated our government at the highest places, it has taken on the status of the officially privileged religion, and the dictate has already gone out to the press to speak of Islam only in hushed, respectful tones. All strictures on outspoken radicals have been lifted by Obama's government, and now we have people like Tariq Ramadan making his triumphal entry to the country. Aside from 9/11, Muslims have committed or attempted to commit bloody murder here numerous times on behalf of Islam, yet it is never identified as a threat to us; what more does it take?
And how, with such a thoroughly infiltrated government and power structure, do we go about fighting it? At least the Spanish armies and kings fought back against Islam, but who will lead us now?
“Islam is a premodern phenomenon,”
Islam is as old as the Devil.
He continues to use different tricks to destroy or lead man astray from the truth. This is just another in a long line of tricks. Islam has been snaking through the rest of the world for many years however, it has only begun to touch us.

The last sentence says it all.
“In order to win any war, one must know who the enemy is and have the courage to do what is necessary. As Paul Hsieh said in his article it is important to commit to victory and win the war. But that won’t happen until our enemy is clearly defined in the American mind.”
Thanks for the ping.
