Obama to vacation at a posh hotel in Spain, where should he eat?

Cue up the music from "Life Styles of the Rich and Famous"! The Obamas are going to bring the kids to Spain. They will be staying in a city called 'Marbella'. You know it takes a lot out of a boy king to have to deal with oil spills, two wars, and JournoList! He has to go where he is loved and appreciated: Europe.

So, any suggestions where they and the kids should eat? Any good Spanish/Muslim hang outs? How about deserts and soul food? Certainly freepers can come up with a few good suggestions.

I found a site with a few restaurants at the link.:

MARISQUERIA LA PESQUERA Plaza de la Victoria, Marbella Old Town, Marbella Tel: 952 765 170

SKANDIES Avda. Antonio Belon, 26 (behind the lighthouse), Marbella Tel: 952 776 323

CASANIS C/Ancha, 8, Marbella Tel: 952 900 450

TONY ROMA'S Ctra de Cadiz km176, Marbella Tel: 952 765 533 www.tonyromas.com

MESSINA Avda. Severo Ochoa, 12 Marbella Tel: 952 864 895 www.restaurantemessina.com

PASTA ITALIA C/Jacinto Benavente 33, Marbella Tel: 952 823 121 www.pastaitalia.info

A Boy King has to keep his strength up, otherwise the golf game goes to 'pot'... er or something.

“...the kids go swimming amongst the tar balls...”
You’re walking on dangerous grounds. Hint: black kids, tar balls!

There must be some farms around that town - go find a hog trough and set ‘em all down.

I’ve been to Marbella, but I didn’t get to stay at a 4- or 5- property... hopefully there’ll be lots of photos taken so we can live vicariously through “O” and his excellent circus adventures.

I guess Michelle ma Belle just meant all the peasants should come to the Gulf Coast for vacation, not the Ruling Class.

Why not have kobe beef flown in for dinner? That’s what they do in the WH with all the prime beef grown in the USA.
I hear the Mrs. likes Russian caviar when she lunches in NY.

Alot of Muslim's want to restore the Caliphate and seat it in Spain.

Maybe the boy king is going there to pick out the residence and furniture?

Obama’s going to Spain in September. 11 August-9 September: Ramadan.

The Muslim army of Tarik ibn Ziyad landed in Spring 711 at The Pillars of Hercules, which we know today as Gibraltar. The name ‘Gilbraltar’ is a variation of the Arabic name that was then given to the place: Jebel ut Tarik, or Tarik’s Hill!

The Visigothic Christian King Rodrigo fought the Muslim army at the Guadalete river on July 19, 711, he lost as the traitor Count Julian withheld his troops at a critical juncture and during negotiations other traitorous troops captured Rodrigo. His severed head was stuck on a pole and paraded before his troops, it was then sent to the Grand Mosque in Damascus. It is the Grand Mosque of Damascus that was the model for the Grand Mosque of Cordoba.

Gibraltar and the Guadalete river are both only a few miles from Marabella.
