Looks like lots of people fear Mike Huckabee.

You don’t want him to run? Too bad. He will and he will do well.

“Looks like lots of people fear Mike Huckabee”

Yep, I fear for the Conservative movement if he wins. I consider Huckabee another McCain.

Ok let’s say Huckabee runs. Let’s say he wins Iowa like he did last time. Let’s say he does well and is in the lead for the nomination after super tuesday.

So what happens after the media beings running 24/7 stories about how Mike Huckabee’s son hung a dog and Huck used the power of the Arkansas Governor’s seat to get the charges dropped?

Oh..and how do you raise a kid who thinks it’s okay to hang a dog for entertainment?

Huckabee is a buffoon who makes conservatism look bad. He’s a religious socialist, an economic know-nothing. I’ve never seen him be serious about National Security. The only thing I know he does well is pray.

We can find a more balanced candidate on my block.

A young girl is raped on her way home from school. Her rapist is convicted and sent to jail. Huckabee decides to let him out of prison. The victim goes to Huckabee and sobbingly tells him how this person has destroyed her life and Huckabee didn’t listen, didn’t care and lets the guy out of prison. The criminal then moves up to the Kansas City area where this rehabilitated person then proceeds to rape and murder two people. And don’t forget the cop killer he released. And like Dukakis, Huck arrogantly defended himself saying he’d do it again.
If he runs and gets the nomination, we will see ads with the devastated families saying things like “This man was a criminal, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison, but he was pardoned by huck” and then a shot of Huck saying “I’d do it again”. He would be toast, just like Dukakis.

Okay, I'm sensing a theme here. The first 4 posts, 3 have Huckabee as the one that will run but you wish they wouldn't.

Actually, I don't think he will run, because I just saw him on some Fox show talking about the fact that he is going to have another talk show on the Fox Network. This doesn't sound like someone who is going to run for Prez again. But, never underestimate the ego of a politician.

I’m sorry, but WHO “expects” David Petraeus to run? He has made it clear, I think, that he is not interested.
