If you like old movies Mary, I love old movies (haven't run across a remake yet that compared to the original), musicals (my generation's MTV) and just about anything sci-fi. Others have listed some of my favorites, but I don't think anyone listed "Fiddler on the Roof". I can watch that over and over. Also, thanks for the links.

Is the movie, THREE MEN AND A BABY, still under exclusive distribution, and stringent copyright restrictions?

Acting with eyes only is very underrated. One of the reasons "Soldier" with Kurt Russell is one of my most favorite movies of all time. A beautiful story of redemption of the human soul ...

Zulu ... among my Top Ten. FABULOUS flick. But then again, the presence alone of Jack Hawkins in any movie (Hawkins plays the drunk, panicked clergyman in Zulu) means it's a great movie. Bridge on the River Kwai. Lawrence of Arabia. The Cruel Sea.

As harsh as “Good Fellas” was/is, there are few movies which will grab and KEEP your full enthrallment as well as this movie does.. I am totally NOT a movie person, but I’ve seen this one about 6 or 7 times. Like a book, it’s a movie you just CAN’T put down. Joe Pesci(sp) and Ray Liotta(sp) were far beyond anything you could ever expect from an actor. Come to think of it, there wasn’t one instance of bad acting in that movie.. not a one.. Damn, I think I’m gonna watch it again tonight. LOL.

I liked Sling Blade but can’t say I liked Mohicans. Seems like the sound quality was bad.
