My gas-powered 100mhz boat anchor PC finally bit the dust, so you won't see me here for awhile and to add insult to injury, I won't be able to work at my new-found job as a loan originator and so can't buy another CPU. I'm on my stepson's laptop right now, as he's home for a few days. I'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers as I'm trying to do somnetghing in case my wife has another stroke and just to help out. Can't do physical labor or conventional work anymore and while my VA disablity comes in handy, it only pays 2/3 of the rent. ThANKS!!
AMEN! AMEN! THX THX.
Prayers up, FRiend!
A humble prayer offered. Best wishes, 2ndDivisionVet, for smoother times to come. I always enjoy your posts.

You will definitely be in my prayers.
BTTT
They immediately dropped everything and got a prayer chain going which (I believe) by God's grace saved the life of my dear loved one.
So you're very much in my prayers as I was in theirs'.
God promises in His Word that he will take care of our physical needs, and in no uncertain terms. These are the words of Jesus Christ himself:
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?"
So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?"
Therefore do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." - Matthew 6:25-33

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." - Matthew 10:29-31 (ESV)

"And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.... - Matthew 6:7-9 (NKJV)
Since God CANNOT lie, these things are already yours in Christ Jesus.
Therefore I am convinced that you'll be seeing some VERY cool miracles very soon. If you feel you may not have enough faith right now, don't worry, we have plenty of that for you, as my Freeper buddies had faith on my behalf when I was too scared to even think.
Oh, and someone upthread said that you are in a spiritual battle, and I would agree completely. When things seem to all fall apart at once, that's a big red flag for that. So I pray also in Jesus' name that God is sending many angels to minister to both you and your wife, and also to battle any spiritual enemies.
Blessings,

I once tried to give some business computers to charity. They were in perfect operating condition but we had upgraded and they were surplus. When I mentioned computers and printers the charities attitude turned immediately defensive and very close to hostile. They absolutely would not take any computer or printer that was older than three years. The reason that they gave me was that it was getting too expensive to haul them to the dump. They were tossing them by the pickup full. Granted that many of these were beyond fixable, there were still a bunch that were fully functional. The charities did not have the staff or the expertise to sort them out.
One guy that did some computer work for us had quite a sideline in used computers. He would cruise the alleyways behind the dorms at the university and pickup the computers and monitors that the kids threw out. Many were only months old. At the end of term he collected computers and computer furniture by the truckload that the students could not or would not take home.
The point is that there is a lot of functional equipment out there that people would be happy to be rid of. Try the church bulletin board. Or two. Or three. The trick is to let enough people know that you are in need of it. Someone will be happy to help you out.
May God Bless.

That which does not destroy us makes us stronger!
For we do not know God’s plan and why he hammers us into a certain mold we do understand he has done this many times in the past to fulfill his words and render Glory upon him.
Our prays are with you!
Never fear for with God on your side whom or what can truly hurt your soul?
God Bless.
