Glenn Beck Ratings Crash Due to Attacks Against Birthers?

Glenn Beck had over 3.7 million viewers back in Jan 2010 and since then he has lost almost 2 million viewers and I believe this is due to him undermining the Obama eligibility movement. The people see through the attacks Glenn and we sense that you are aiding Obama and John McCain hide their alleged cover up of Obama's ineligibility.

Yes it is called spring which leads into summer! *eyeroll* Programs always drop viewrs during this time of year and is a big reason why reruns have typically been run during these times.

Yeah, that could be it. Or it could be that his ratings (if that’s what they are now) have come back to reasonable levels for his time slot.

He had those ratings because he was new, different and the hype fueled interest in the show and him plus he was closely associated with all the Tea Party protests at the time.

The Tea parties have moved from protests to behind the scenes involvement in primaries and he’s no longer the new fad of the moment. An indication of why all those articles proclaiming him the new head of the conservative movement were silly.

He’s the number 2 program in all of cable news many nights.

He’s the number 1 program in his time slot.

He beats most of the non-Fox prime time lineups COMBINED and does so with a non-prime-time spot.

That hasn’t changed. When it does, then maybe all of you agenda-driven attackers might have some valid reason as to why it’s happening.

I am a big fan of Glenn Beck, but if his ratings are down it is likely due to the fact that not everyone can deal with his ‘drama-queen’ style of delivery. (Sorry Glenn.) And to be honest he has gotten a little redundant of late.

That being said, the delivery really is a factor of his intensity, and as for redundancy, I suppose there are some things you cannot say too many times.

I believe that (if it is true that he has lost viewers) it is because he changed the show’s formula. Last year he was a fire breathing, full of facts, political scandal exposer. Then at the turn of the year, he touted the show’s new formula which included a measure of religious evangelism - not the same and not so interesting! In the past few weeks he is returning to the 2009 formula - much better. But I am surprised by his treatment of the birthers. Maybe he hasn't read Alinsky who says that this should be exploited to Obama’s discomfort!

I heard the radio version. It went on and on. Okay so they disagree. But don't they have better things to do than twaddling for twenty minutes?
