Meet Obama's radical new Supreme Court nominee

President Obama formally announced his nomination to replace retiring Justice John Paul Stevens Monday. Meet Elena Kagan:

As an undergraduate at Princeton, Kagan wrote a senior thesis titled "To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933..."

Kagan first met fellow radical Barack Obama in 1991, when she became his colleague on the faculty of the University of Chicago Law School after being appointed to an assistant professorship...

As dean at Harvard Law, Kagan write to the U.S. Senate, urging that body to kill an amendment that would have protected the White House from lawsuits filed by foreign terrorists charging that their "constitutional rights" had been violated by American law-enforcement and intelligence authorities...

Steve Gilbert comments:

“Open-minded, pragmatic, and progressive.” — Gee, the New York Times describes Ms. Kagan much like they did Mr. Obama, before he was elected. Funny, how he turned out to be so different from what was advertised.
The Times even went so far as to mention Kagan's thesis on socialism, quoting her thesis adviser Sean Wilentz, who claims that the paper was not a defense of socialism:
“She was interested in it,” he said. “To study something is not to endorse it.”
Gilbert adds some perspective:
No, of course not. And Mr. Obama didn’t "endorse" Saul Alinsky, either...
Gilbert concludes:
The similarities with Mr. Obama are uncanny. No real life experience for the position. A near total absence of any legal writings. No record of her real political beliefs, apart from her obvious attraction to preachers of the radical left.

Ms. Kagan is a ‘stealth candidate,’ just like Mr. Obama was.

What could possibly go wrong?

More stealth, more transparency. The opacity of hope and change. Also, no experience. What could go wrong?

That’s all a person needs to know about her — she wanted that nutbar to indoctrinate college kids.
