Jeff is finally "waking up" from the Friday surgery. The swelling has gone WAY down except for one hand. They took his breathing tube out this afternoon and he is talking to me (albeit VERY softly). I was reading him some of the posts and he said to ask everyone to pray for water. He is VERY thirsty and can't have any water until tomorrow. =(
He still is pretty immobile and has lots of drain tubes coming from everywhere. The pain meds are working at keeping him comfortable, but since he just got off the breathing tube, they don't want him sleeping much and have decreased the dose a little for the time being.
There's not a whole lot to report, but I thought you all would like to know that he is MUCH better than he was yesterday.
We’re all in here.
Stay strong Jeff, we are all praying for you.
Glory be to God.
Praying for his physical and spiritual healing
I will be praying for you tomorrow!
Praying for a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the update wagglebee.
Lord, bring your perfect care givers to Jeff Head’s side in the midst of this
fiery trial.
Cancer’s evil tentacles spread far and wide.
Station your angels of mercy around his bed whenever his family
isn’t able to be with him.
Fill Gail with your hope and love that she will be an uplifter of Jeff’s spirits!
Ping to Amy’s Place prayer warriors, Jeff has another surgery tomorrow, May 11th.
Jeff and Gail, look for a get well card via snail mail, from me here in WI to you in TX. Sent it today(Monday).
Continuing to pray for Jeff and his family.
Praying Gods hand on you both and the Doctors.
I’ll keep you both in mind tomorrow, and pray throughout the day.
God bless and keep you. May all go well.
"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.-- John 7:38
"A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, Give Me a drink. For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman? For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water. The woman said to Him, Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock? Jesus answered and said to her, Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
-- John 4:7-14

Megadittos to Vigilanteman's comment.
You’re welcome. Jeff was on my mind today in a pretty strong way... I just happened to catch the comment from Lee, and checked the calendar. I’m glad I did catch it. I know both Jeff and Gail need our prayers now more than ever... Not to mention the rest of his family as well.
Thanks for the update. Continuing to pray for a speedy recovery.
