Glenn Beck vs. Joel Rogers, King of the Progressives

If Fox News commentator, Glenn Beck is right, Joel Rogers may be the man behind Obama and the entire Progressive Movement. Not a far stretch as Progressives got their start in Wisconsin, where Joel teaches law, political science and sociology at the University of Wisconsin. Thursday morning, Joel was a featured speaker at an Earth Day conference in Chicago on public transportation. Needless to say, he’s all for it!

But Beck has connected the dots on his magic blackboards (He needs about three or four now, at least!) as he ties Joel Rogers as the man behind most of the Progressive movement’s organizations. The focus of today’s program was the pending Cap and Trade bill, now in the Senate. Back in the early 1990s, Obama and his close friend and adviser, Valerie Jarrett, arranged for funding Chicago’s Climate Credit Exchange from the Joyce Foundation. The exchange is already trading carbon credits, the core to Cap & Trade. Such an exchange is a must have to institute the program.

Next, Beck relates how Franklin Raines, one of Obama’s principal fund raisers in 2008, had purchased the technology for managing Cap & Trade while the head of Fannie Mae. Why would Fannie Mae, a mortgage lending entity, invest in such software? As a Government Secured Enterprise, it gives Uncle Sugar a piece of a potential $10 TRILLION dollar prize.

Everybody is in on this caper. Beck uses the film “Oceans Eleven” (the crappy remake) as an analogy, but I think “Kelly’s Heroes” may be more to the point. Even the band and grave diggers are in on this scheme. The Apollo Alliance, ACORN, SEIU, AFL-CIO, Goldman Sachs, Al Gore, Vance Jones, Bill Ayers, and a partridge in a pear tree. At the center of them all, keeping everybody in synch, is Joel Rogers. He has his own group, COWS, which focuses on spreading the Progressive message in Wisconsin, Emerald Cities, which is into urban planning for the New World Order, and the Brookings Institute, to keep the egg-heads in line.

Joel Rogers belongs to just about all of them, or has ties through other cross-over groups like The New Party and Change to Win, where Andy Stern is now hanging out in since leaving SEIU. Another key player is Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins, who’s name pops up a lot, too. She’s CEO of Green for All, was a bigwig in the AFL-CIO, and works with a host of groups like Working Partnerships, USA, National Alliance for Fair Employment Partnership for Working Families and Emerald Cities. When you check out these groups, you will see people serving on several of them. It’s all one big happy Progressive family. Naturally, all are in favor of Cap and Trade. Is Beck hitting pay-dirt finally? Is Cap & Trade the next step towards a totalitarian state?

All this week, Glenn Beck has been is doing his best to expose what is potentially the biggest con in history.

Before I lose you, let me state why this story is so very important: It appears that there is a chance that people at the very HIGHEST levels of our government are creating something-out-of-nothing (carbon credits) and then passing a law which will force American businesses to buy $10 TRILLION dollars worth of that something-out-of-nothing and then passing billions and billions and billions of dollars along to their political pals and business cohorts... uh, can you say “corruption of the highest order”?!?

The craziest part is that it might not technically be considered a criminal act by the time they pull it off because THEY will have passed a law (Cap and Trade) which will make it all legal... how twisted!!

In addition to creating 100’s of billions of dollars in profit for themselves and their cohorts, they are apparently setting-up an unbeatable political power money-machine which will be funded by forcibly extracting (maybe “extorting” is a better word) TRILLIONS of dollars from American businesses under this new law. That is a bloodless coup.

So far, Glenn Beck seems to be the only person with a wide audience with the guts to cover this story.

In a nutshell, here is the deal:

The Chicago Climate Exchange CCX - a $10 trillion dollar carbon credit market (here’s where the creating something-out-of nothing comes in... it is literally a product created out of thin air.)

As Glenn says, they sell puffs of smoke! Enron would be proud!

Barack Obama helped to direct funds from The Joyce Foundation in order to fund the creation of the CCX. Remember, it is the CHICAGO Climate Exchange... nothing shady happening in Chicago, right?

Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s top advisor, was reportedly on the board of the CCX back in the early 2000’s.

There are many ex-Goldman Sachs executives and at least one ex-Goldman lobbyist working in the Obama administration.

A British company, Enterprise, is partially owned by Al Gore and Goldman Sachs among others and is set to make billions off of the CCX market .

Franklin Raines (the $90 Million Dollar Paycheck man of Fannie Mae accounting “irregularity” fame) and other Fannie Mae people patented the “method for providing a residential emissions trading program” (IE: the technology needed to run the CCX) back while he was running Fannie.

Franklin Raines is/was an Obama friend and advisor (they have kind of tamped-down talk about that relationship since the whole financial meltdown thing happened).

The patent was approved one day after Congress was taken over by the Democrats back in 2006.

Raines was reportedly also instrumental in starting Emerald Cities, a collaboration of radical, far left-wing groups who are planning on reaping billions of dollars in grants and other type of funding that will flow from the carbon trade credits that will be sold through the CCX.

Look at their Board of Directors, members and staff bios in the About Us section! The “Members” tab under About Us reads like a Who’s Who of the Marxist, Socialist, Communist, Social Justice movement.

Dig down into their Goals, Policies and National Strategies pages. Count how many times they talk about redistributing wealth and income and achieving social justice!

Check out all of the ways they are planning to milk money out of this system. LOOK at the framework they have in place. They have been planning for a long, long time. This is NOT about the environment. It is about power and money, period.

The only thing that they are missing at this point... the final piece of the puzzle... is Cap and Trade.

They have all of the other pieces in place to reap 100’s of billions of dollars either through the CCX, Enterprise, the patent and Emerald Cities (and probably 1,000 other ways that we don’t know about yet).

Cap and Trade will bring the dollars flooding their way... right into their greedy little hands.

Why is this so important? Well for one, it is possibly the biggest con in the history of the world. Making something-out-of-nothing and forcing people to buy $10 trillion dollars worth of it... breathtakingly brazen!

And two, Cap and Trade would cause the price of everything we buy and use to skyrocket. It would drive millions more American jobs overseas. Radical left-wing groups and politicians will reap untold political power and billions of dollars if Cap and Trade passes.

I know we are tired and overwhelmed (that is one of their main goals, to overwhelm us), but we have to stop this.

No less than the future of our country depends on it.

When we start to contemplate how long they have been in the process of putting this scheme together and how many people are in on this, it truly boggles the mind.

Creating the CCX and companies such as Enterprise.

Filming and distributing Inconvenient Truth. Lobbying the Nobel Prize people to give Gore and Obama those ridiculous awards.

Building the Emerald Cities coalition. What a bunch of moochers and looters!

Getting teachers to spread their propaganda. Teaching kids to believe that their world is in imminent danger if we don’t regulate CO2. That part strikes me as the most evil of all... making young children believe that their world is going to come to an end just so that they can brainwash them into supporting their carbon trade scheme... simply evil!

Getting the patent. I read a little bit of the information about the patent. It says that for the first time this technology gives the gov’t an economical way to measure how much energy a homeowner’s house is wasting, so that will make it easy for them to evaluate each home and figure out what has to be done in order to bring it up to an acceptable energy-efficiency level!

We can’t ask illegal aliens for their ID, but the gov’t can come into our homes and tell us that we have to invest thousands of dollars in order to get an energy permit!?!

They have put an incredible amount of time, thought and effort into planning this heist... and they are so close to pulling it off, they can taste it.

That oil spill is just the crisis they needed... I want to scream I’m so mad at BP for not having a safety valve on that well (assuming the report that they didn’t have a safety shutoff valve on it is true)!

They will use the oil spill (as well as the mine disasters) to pass Cap and Trade and shut down drilling for many years to come.

Somehow, some way we have to get the word out about this carbon trading scam.
