Interesting thoughts on "aliens" by Stephen Hawking. Question - Is it possible that "aliens" are really just a demonic deception that will be revealed in the last days to lead us astray?

Lets just hope they don’t think we’re the demonic deception.

If they really do exist, a lot of other things are screwed as well.

I remember one religious person theorizing that the reason that aliens all had the same body type is because the aliens weren’t really from outerspace, but demons and the bodies were merely their shells.

As for abductions and experiments, well, I don’t know what to think of that stuff.

I’ve never been a fan of Stephen Hawking. I’ve always had the impression that he’s one of these modern day mad geniuses that is so smart, that he’s literally gone “out of orbit”, and left reality behind.

In time, maybe he’ll create some mathematical formula that enables mankind to build faster-than-lightspeed ships, which will make it possible for us to colonize far-away earth-like planets. Perhaps.

In the meantime, he’s been a tenured professor for something like 30 years or more, and as far as I know, he’s never produced anything of practical value for society, but has been lauded endlessly as the successor to Einstein.

Has the man ever earned that accolade? I don’t know that he has.

Yep, and they will shed their human skin to reveal their reptilian one.

I have read several alien abduction stories, and other encounters with aliens. I don’t know where spielberg got his idea for a nice cute loving alien because he certainly didn’t get it from people who believe they have had encounters. In all of the stories I have read the aliens are simply cruel, treating humans like we might treat mice or guinea pigs.

If aliens exist I would say they are evil, and so would go with the demon label. However, if one asked me to take him to “my leader”, I would have no problem giving him Obama’s address.

In all due respect to Mr Hawking, who I admire greatly, the 'end-times' aliens are already here and have been for some time ....

He says aliens exist, but that a supernatural God with whom humans can have a personal relationship “seems most implausible”. Hmmm.

Well, he didn't rule out the possibility of a Supreme Being, but it's just one man's thoughts.

Hawking is welcome to whatever theories of the supernatural float his boat. Just like any other person. I just don't think that I'll be buying stock in most of them.

I do agree with him, however, that there are other intelligent species in the universe. It can't be otherwise. It's been calculated that if you took every grain of sand on every beach in the world, and counted them all, you wouldn't have as many grains of sand as there are stars in the universe.

That's an incomprehensible number. Understand also that many of those stars have planets orbiting them, which is an even bigger number.

In my view, the universe is literally teeming with life, though I have little but reasoning and logic to support that view.

This is the same Hawking who came up with the goofy theory of multiple “parallel universes” without a shred of evidence to back it up for the sole reason that he couldn’t accept the fact that the anthropic principle points unerringly to a creator of the universe.

I do not think they would bother him, after he show them his 666 birthmark on the back of his scalp.
