According to this federal official, lawmakers and White House officials were stunned by the strong response against the health care bill, citing the protests at the Capitol. Based on what Ive heard, I dont think they were expecting the type of response seen in not only the demonstrations, but in poll numbers and by conservative talk radio and television.BS. So dissent is now treason? This is just a ramp-up to make opposition appear like out of control radical right-wingers.
Watch lists are being created and updated to include anyone who appears to be organizing or acting as a gallivanting force behind the actual protestors.
"Your papers, please..."

The feds set up some folks to bomb a synagogue in the Bronx not too long ago, so they could arrest 'em.
I would be surprised if they didn't already have agents provocateur in the Tea Party and peripheral GOP groups.

Just like we could never have a communist for a President, right?

Concur completely with insights posted by Travis McGee above. Socialists now in power would be gleeful for a springboard to enact more laws.
It is a similar notion to what Wayne LaPierre identified years ago about gungrabbers accepting bloodshed to (sickeningly) further their cause.

I’m sure the anonymous source doesn’t have any reason for putting this out there.

They’re dragging us, our children, and grandchildren off into slavery,
and are offended that we’re mad about it.

Or some shadowy cutout group related to the fedgov will funnel support to a nutball rightwing group until it happens.
It worked before. It’s sort of a template.

The comforting truth, however, is that socialism is an unsustainable economic/social/political system that always fails, and it will fail in the US. Ultimately, as was all know, the intellectually challenged left will be proved wrong. Nothing they do or say can save them from this inevitability. It's just the way it is. The problem for us is that we are on this planet for a finite period of time, and it is unclear at this point how long it will take for the collapse of this latest ill-fated attempt at socialism to occur. Probably not too long, but painful in the meantime.

I live in Alabama. As such I know that the very idea of a “Reichstag” event or gun confiscation any time soon is lunacy. Because I know that the populace Alabama, like most southern states, simply wouldn’t comply.
I can see riots breaking out. Hell, riots break out in America all the time. We haven’t had national riots since the 60s but I could see them breaking out. Still, all this conspiracy theory lunacy only gives ammunition to those on the left who want to portray conservatives as crazy. And I should point out this one thing. The left also had all these crazy whacked out conspiracy theories about W during his presidency.

The libtards are PRAYING for a T. McVeigh type action from the right. And if they dont get it, they will create it... A communist killed JFK, and within 3 days the MSM had the nation convinced it was right-wingers.
They got a tremendous gain from that - and I'm sure they wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

There is no list.
The federal government is more inefficient at everything it does than the private sector.
Do you honestly think they have the ability to pull off all this crap?
To: McKayopectate
Yes you are right. I have seen the Reichstag comments on this site and I remember talking about this with a friend one year ago.
The Left will manufacture or blow up incidents to justify restrictions on free speech (or worse?) among conservatives and the Tea Party movement. Just before Kristalnacht a young Jew assassinated a German diplomat in France. This was the justification for the terrible Kristanacht in 1938. Sure there may be extremists that result in violence, but the over-reaction from the Left could be truly unprecedented in American history
Eric Cantor knows this and is calling for the Dims to stop demonizing conservative with false claims. Now as conservatives, we are all in danger of reliving the experience of of the Jews in 1930’s and 1940s in Germany.

That's what the Jews kept telling themselves all the way to Auschwitz, Sobibor and Treblinka.

The Reichstag event is to keep “The Divine One” as president forever; i.e. suspend elections ‘until the danger is past.’
