The comforting truth, however, is that socialism is an unsustainable economic/social/political system that always fails, and it will fail in the US. Ultimately, as was all know, the intellectually challenged left will be proved wrong. Nothing they do or say can save them from this inevitability. It's just the way it is. The problem for us is that we are on this planet for a finite period of time, and it is unclear at this point how long it will take for the collapse of this latest ill-fated attempt at socialism to occur. Probably not too long, but painful in the meantime.

If it ever happens in the U.S., darkness will descend for several lifetimes.
