I live in Alabama. As such I know that the very idea of a “Reichstag” event or gun confiscation any time soon is lunacy. Because I know that the populace Alabama, like most southern states, simply wouldn’t comply.
I can see riots breaking out. Hell, riots break out in America all the time. We haven’t had national riots since the 60s but I could see them breaking out. Still, all this conspiracy theory lunacy only gives ammunition to those on the left who want to portray conservatives as crazy. And I should point out this one thing. The left also had all these crazy whacked out conspiracy theories about W during his presidency.
Get a clue. The "conspiracy theory lunacy" is coming from the left. Liberals are dreaming up something BEYOND what is really taking place and you want to blame conservatives because--GASP--we're talking about it. That is the conspiracy, so don't make it into something it isn't. Are you on Al Gore's payroll?
Its not any coincidence that shots were fired at Eric Cantor’s office either. They will blame this attack on the Tea party too. The left’s narrative to blame the tea partiers will go something like this:
“See the tea baggers are just a bunch of skinhead neo nazis who even will attack republicans who are Jewish. “ I bet I am right. The biggest anti-semities going are the LEFT!
the riots are on the verge of beginning right now...the delicate part is, when does the left hit back at the borderline riots now (which they will no doubt exaggerate, or even fund through shady methods), and how hard does the left hit back. That to me is the essence of Reichstag: an exaggerated response to a (perhaps concocted) violent event that furthers the goals of the state.
Now...would a nationwide suspension of civil liberties or confiscation work? No, it would not, about that there is no disagreement. That would erupt in full-blown rioting and widespread disobedience. But who wants to go through that?
The point being: when the left is in power, it is FAR FROM UNREASONABLE that they will concoct threats from “right wing hate groups” in order to try to suppress legitimate conservative dissent and activism. Anyone who doesn’t believe that THAT is possible and likely, is just naive. Maybe it is not as extreme as the historic Reichstag, but the dynamic and strategy is exactly the same.....it’s all in Alinsky by the way.
Obama is an absolute communist. This has nothing to do with what Bush did. We have every right to raise hell, especially if the courts do not repeal this. BTW - I was born and raised in Alabama. Roll Tide!
