From the time Senate Candidate Barack Obama made his first national speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, millions have been fawning over his supposed intelligence. Effectively reading a well written speech does require a certain skill set but true intelligence should not be measured by theatrical speech patterns or the timbre of one's voice. It is most commonly measured by one's ability to solve problems and in this area, Mr. Obama comes off worse than the proverbial mouse solving the maze to find the cheese.

Let’s be perfectly candid here. America said he was “smart” because he was a black guy who didn’t sound like Al Sharpton.
In its obsession to deal with its racial issues, America is always very, very eager to give minorities not just the benefit of the doubt, but, a huge boost. If Obama had been white, no none would have noticed.
Sorry to be so blunt, but, that’s the truth.
An interesting metaphor, considering that an optimal strategy for exiting a maze is to always keep to the left (or right).... ("Exiting the maze" is a common competition in college robotics classes.)
But of course, that strategy is optimal because the underlying assumption is that the "mouse" in the maze has no prior information about the best way out -- it's just given a starting point and has to stumble its way through, and just reacting when it reaches a wall.
That's an amazingly accurate description of what Obama seems to be doing....

Obama, like fellow Illinoisian Adlai Stevenson, is discovering that just because the press declares you “cerebral” doesn’t make it so. In this case, the Emperor has no Brain.
Actually, I think the pivot on healthcare was pretty deft. He has a bipartisan meeting.
Then he unilaterally claims to have incorporated some Republican ideas and demands a vote. He’s close to a victory.
He figured out a way to pretend bipartisanship while acting in a completely non-bipartisan way.
Health care is not in a hole because he’s stupid. It’s in a hole because a lot of smart people want to do evil things like socializing (technically fascizing) medicine. And a lot of regular people see it for the evil it is. But Obama has managed to push this recognizable evil uphill despite massive public opposition in a democracy. He is near victory.
He isn’t stupid. He’s evil.
I find one of the most depressing things about Americans is that some believe this guy is smart. Subtract the Marxist gobbledygook and he sounds like Gomer Pyle to my ears.
Not just that, but liberals it gives you racism immunity to express the opinion that a black guy is really, really smart.
LOL, that and his ending “speech” a rambling bunch of words to get to the point, which was a threat.
He could have ended that garbal of gab in 6 words.

It was a nice try, but I don't think it fooled anybody. The media is currently trumpeting that "he tried to compromise" line, but they're just sycophants and the contention just does not stand up to the slightest bit of scrutiny.
If he does get this through (and I still don't think it gets through the House - not enough kamikaze Dems), it will garner the rage of a significant number of Americans and will cost the Democrats both houses of congress.
The new Republican congress will have their mandate to undo the mess.

Only one time he was caught openly talking during the campaign and that was with Joe the Plumber....(and Saddleback church)
He reads from the teleprompter, so people won’t catch what they caught at the ‘health care summit.’ Body language, arrogance, facial features, body movements....people can read these,but they are absent from teleprompter reading, but standing in front of a teleprompter reading other people’s words, turning youre head from side to side, all the body reading is gone....
So when Obama does speak with out the teleprompter, it debunks what the media and pundits like chrissy ‘tingles’ matthews tells us, how above us all Obama is, how is I.Q is soooo high, quite the contrary is proven. He’s arrogant, easily frustrated, lashes out, controls it mostly, but it’s always seething just under the surface. He’d doesn’t get ‘mad’, he takes revenge, he gets even. From real or just ‘perceived’ slights....
