Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid: “Now, we as leaders here, the speaker and I, have not talked about doing reconciliation as the only way out of all this. Of course it’s not the only way out. But remember, since 1981, reconciliation has been used 21 times. Most of it’s been used by Republicans for major things, like much of the Contract for America, Medicare reform, the tax cuts for rich people in America. So reconciliation isn’t something that’s never been done before.”

The Contract With America was passed with Clinton’s support on seven out of the ten points.
Stupid computer won’t play the video, but....I think we are all well aware that Congress will push this death care through. Our best hope to stop this evil will be the November elections (actually, we can begin in spring with the election of the right candidates in the primaries).
Here’s a question: According to what I’ve seen and heard, even if this death care becomes law, it won’t go into effect for another couple of years. If between now and the effective date of death care, we clean house in Congress and put in conservatives, would we be able to legally repeal this monstrosity after it becomes law?
We DO CARE about process...and we are SCARED of the way the she and reid and uhbama are NOT LISTENNING to us and are ramming this through.
And it is BECAUSE they intend to RAM IT THROUGH that they are saying you and I and everyone do not care about process.
They know they are using an unfair and creepy dictatorial PROCESS and by saying we do not care, they justify doing it.
They make me sick.
Just sick.
How do they stand themselves?
I was amazed when so many dems at the summit said people didn’t care about votes they just want the bill.
Can they be any further out of touch?
Reid forgets that if they can pass it with just 51 votes, then it can be repealed with 51 votes.
