Yeah yeah, and if she stayed she’d have been the selfish, insensitive, calculating bitch who endangered her family’s financial future by hanging on to the office just so she could run for President.

Old hat at picking out the damned-if-you-do meme.

I’m tired of that insinuation that just because one doesn’t think Palin is the greatest thing since sliced bread, automatically makes one a “Mittbot.”

I admired and respected Reagan. I’ve never met him, let alone knew him well enough to “love” him. You must have though.

Name one Republican that can beat her in the primaries?

To be perfectly honest, no one. If she seeks the nomination, it's hers.

You unwittingly paint the “conservative base” as a brain-washed cult poised to go happily marching off a cliff behind Sarah Palin.

That's just your misrepresentation of passion being construed as "cult behavior." I strongly disagree. Those who support Governor Palin are passionate about her and her conservative beliefs and believe she's the best choice for President.

The hundreds of ordinary people braving the cold and rain for her book signings belong to a cult too?

Good point. However, the RomneyBOTS have been
out with their hatchets for weeks now for jealous
Mr. Mitt Romney-care.

Is it not enough that Romney has thrown ONE election
to his beloved Obama?

I'll be brutally honest here and say that either of the Dakota Governors (Rounds or Hoeven) would seriously give her a run for the money.

Try “Due to frivolous lawsuits, it was costing her far more each month in legal expenses to stay governor than she was bringing in with her salary.”

Gut feeling, and gut feeling only, tells me that Sarah Palin has as much chance of getting the nomination as a snow ball in hell.

Not a very intellectual,well-informed opinion I know,but it’s the way I,and some other Republican friends,feel.

Doubt George Washington could get elected today. It is a different country.

"Anybody who doesn't realize that she handed any opposition a golden sledge hammer the day she quit and that they will use it to beat her down in the eyes of the American voter is either hopelessly naive or willfully blind. "

And some people are just too damned stupid to understand that the reason she HAD to leave was due to the idiotic laws that allowed the Democrat machine to file frivolous bullcrap ethics lawsuits that she was FORCED to fight with her own money.

It was either bankrupt her family and spend all of her time fighting bullcrap charges (meaning no time to do the Governor's job) or leave.

She made the right choice. Only morons can't or won't understand that.

I’m not so sure about that. I don’t think Palin support is nearly as broad as it’s believed to be within the Palin Echo Chamber. If the primaries were held today, I’d guess the vote would be split several ways and we’d end up with another McCain-type nominee - someone whom hardly anyone really wants, but who emerges by default from a weak field of candidates. Fortunately the primaries aren’t being held today. I’m still holding out hope for a new face to emerge between now and 2012.
